Job Description:
Quad/Graphics is currently seeking a Press Assistant I/Roll Tender to work in the Charlotte, NC Retail Plant. As a member of the press crew, the Press Assistant I (Roll Tender) has previous experience as a Press Asst. II (stacker/jogger) and is able to perform the duties of both positions and may be asked to do so from time to time. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understanding standard operating procedures of the department
Manage the paper supply inventory on the press and feed rolls into the press
Coordinate plates and tickets for upcoming jobs and hang paper according to job tickets
Set up and make splices, bend and hang plates as well as hang blankets and assist with webbing up press
Ensure correct ink is available for job and check ink fountains regularly
Set fold during make-readies and check trim sheets to proof and complete necessary roll reports and paperwork accurately
Communicate effectively with plate room and paper warehouse and coordinate changing of ink, etch, and silicone totes as needed
Wash up the press and assist with preventative maintenance.
Qualifications
Candidates must have prior press experience as Press Assistant II (Jogger)
Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of presses and roll stands and the ability to perform basic math calculations are essential.
Good verbal and written comprehension skills are a must.
Must be able to thrive in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
This position also requires the ability to bend and lift 50 pounds continuously, ability to lift up to 90 pounds occasionally, stand long hours, use hands and wrists continuously and use vision in order to identify defects, performing repetitious tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Position Summary:
The basic function of the Utility Operator is to set up and operate drill press, hand punch, rollers, punch press, timesaver, fladder, floppy wheel, shear and other special purpose machines to fabricate or deburr metallic and non-metallic parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Set up and operate machines listed above.
Fabricate and/or modify parts to meet customer requirements.
Study blueprints, supplemental drawings, specifications, or in some cases, a sample part, to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting or punching tools, attachments, and accessories needed to perform required functions on machines.
Calculate and set controls to regulate repeatability of processes.
Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust machine controls as required.
Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications and blue prints by use of appropriate measuring devices.
Accurately fill out work order routers with correct quantity of good parts and scrap parts.
Communicate and confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve any problems that may arise.
Create the best product possible with no defects to help maintain a high standard of quality.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Six months to one year related experience and/or training

Quad/Graphics is currently seeking a Press Assistant I to work in the Nashville Tennessee Retail Plant. As a member of the press crew, the Press Assistant I (rolltender) has previous experience as a Press Asst. II (stacker) and is able to perform the duties of both positions and may be asked to do so from time to time. Key responsibilities of this position are to manage the paper supply inventory on the press, feed rolls into the press, and manage paper inventory. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to product handling and stacker oversight.

STATEMENT OF JOB The Machine Operator III works under the supervision of the fabrication/machining supervisor.
This employee is expected to perform a variety of semi-skilled tasks related to machining.
These include operating machines such as single and multiple spindle machines, milling machine, manual and automatic drill presses and turret lathe.
Parts must be deburred using prints and drawings, checking machined parts for size and conformance to specifications.
The person shall perform minor maintenance and cleaning of machines.
This operator will also be cross-trained as the backup to the CNC operator.

Control Room Tender
Founded in 1986, the San Manuel Casino (SMC) has built a strong reputation as a premier gaming establishment attracting more than two-million guests a year! Our Facilities department strives to create a pleasurable experience for all patrons by ensuring our buildings and grounds are updated, safe, maintained and clean at all times.
Under the supervision of the Facilities Management Team, the Control Room Tender is responsible for assisting with all end user requests including: creating service tickets in the HotSOS program, staffing of the Facilities Control Room around the clock to serve as a centralized dispatch center for the Facilities Department. The Tender manages and tracks tbe service orders along with the call off logs, and provides around the clock monitoring for all critical Casino building systems including the Casino Fire Alarm Panel Building Automation System, and Emegency Generator Enunciators. This role must also have a documented customer service and communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in promoting brand loyalty by engaging in exceptional customer service to both our external and internal customers.
Manages Fire Systems consisting of: establishing communication with the Fire Panel service vendor to place system in and out of bypass. Communicates with Surveillance, DPS, Fire Marshal, Safety & Loss Control, and other key departments in regards to any action with the Fire Systems. Engages in the fire drill and executing emergency evacuation plan protocol. Monitors, tracks, and responds to Trouble, Supervisory, and/or Alarm events activated on the Fire Alarm System Panel. Communicates smoke head read-outs monthly to management.
Monitors and makes changes as needed to building HVAC systems: temperatures throughout the Casino, Boiler Room equipment, Central Plant chillers, plate and frame, condensers, and cooling towers per HVAC mechanic and management recommendations; monitor Surveillance, IT, and electrical room AC temperatures. Tracks carbon monoxide levels and reports if/when there is an issue.
Performs monitoring of Electrical systems. Monitors and communicates the status of the UPS systems, generators, and switch gear. Tracks and adjusts interior and exterior lighting.
Receives all Facilities department service orders. Assigns service order numbers, logs service orders, and distributes to appropriate . divisions within the Facilities Department.
Fields and directs all incoming radio requests and calls to the appropriate division; maintains a log of all calls and creates service orders which require so.
Reports any issues with the auto-walks, elevators and escalators. Schedules appropriate vendor when needed. Notifies resident auto-walk, elevator, and escalator vendor technician when issues are reported.
Notifies appropriate Facilities Management and Safety Divisin staff when any patron and/or employee incident occurs. Logs the incident log with accurate information for later use if needed by Claims Department.
Receives all call-offs from the various divisions; documents and posts in the share drive.

Maintain organized, clean and safe work environment throughout the enterprise.
Performs additional duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Routinely set up and operate hand and power feed drill press.
II. Operates radial drill press to perform a variety of operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, counter boring, countersinking, and spot facing on parts where many operations are involved and where cutting tools, locating and holding fixtures are usually available. Over three months machine shop or related experience.
