Warehouse Operator - Cans
The Warehouse Operator must be able to:
Work as a member of Warehouse team to perform all required duties in a collaborative environment to deliver quality cans to seven brewery customers.
Utilize a forklift and warehouse management system to transport cans from production, in and out of storage locations, and onto outbound shipments.
Perform all functions involved in the receiving, storing, and shipping of raw materials, finished goods and scrap.
Operate our de-palletizer as needed to help supply cell bin cans to Golden Brewery.
Support meeting or exceeding business objectives for department and plant scorecards, Manufacturing Way, and other MillerCoors and RMMC initiatives

Related work experience:
One year previous experience as forklift operator in a large production operation.

Computer skills: Experience using Microsoft Outlook for email, Excel, and Word. Ability to learn our warehouse system and other RMMC systems.
A team player with good communication skills.
Flexibility and ability to prioritize multiple workload requirements that occur in a shift.

Primary Purpose of Position
Develop production plans and inventory strategies for beverage packaging products across a manufacturing network that encompasses North and Central America.
Responsible for development of master production schedules for multiple plants across the Beverage Packaging North and Central America network. The master production schedules will ensure maximum manufacturing efficiencies as well as optimal inventory levels while enabling delivery to customer requirements.
Directs distribution of inventory throughout the network to ensure inventory is available to meet customer delivery requirements.
Works with management and inventory planners to develop safety stock and inventory strategies for assigned products.
Works with management to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. Develops and implements continuous improvement practices and LEAN management methodologies across our production planning and scheduling processes.
Coordinate across the supply network in lead-time-reduction activities to achieve the projected planned schedule requirements, and support industry best-in-class production lead time.
Identify deviations from established plans, and develop recovery plans.
Monitor S&OP plans to ensure alignment with the master production schedule.
Communicate master production schedules with manufacturing & plant management.
Measure, analyzes and reports key process metrics. Monitors adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop, monitor and communicate reports on inventory and process execution to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.
Maintains business data to support production planning, inventory reporting and manufacturing systems.
Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience.
Job related experience for 5 years minimum.
Working knowledge of the following areas: JD Edwards, Oracle Value Chain Planning, APICS Production and Inventory planning methodologies, Microsoft Office.

Description and ResponsibilitiesCompound formulas accurately by weight and by ingredients and ensure that the best methodology is utilized based upon the particular product or mix. Possess and apply working knowledge of all raw materials before use, ie: mixing/heating to ensure quality and consistency in batches.
Utilize inventory lot rotation (FIFO) for all materials used. Possess and apply working knowledge of all pumps, mixers, scales, fork trucks, high density storage units, meters, and computers. Follow all manufacturing instructions on formula batch sheet using proper mixing techniques to ensure product quality.
Properly label all batches submitted to the lab for evaluation. Follow all 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Proper handling of Allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures Other duties assigned by ManagementQualifications
HS or equivalent experience
Must have experience within the Flavor or a closely related industry.
Must be proficient in compounding techniques and raw materials.
Must be proficient in the use of scales and other compounding equipment
Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and move up to 400 pounds. Must be able to operate forklifts and other equipment integral to the job functions.
Must be able to see and distinguish between labels. Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk through the warehouse. Must be certified to wear a respirator and follow all rules regarding respirator wear.
Working Environment: Factory environment with exposure to flavor, and basic product chemicals and raw materials.
