We are currently seeking a Process Attendant III to join our team at our plant in Fairfield, CA.
Rotate to primary work areas during the shift: carton assembly, de-caser, case, de-bulk palletizing, material supply, baler and storing & shipping. Perform the duties commensurate with each area during the rotation.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Hi-lift tractor, carton assembler, casepacker, de-caser, automatic carton palletizer, de-bulk palletizer, Partition inserter, miss-glue pots, pallet jack, stretch wrap, pallet stacker, flap closer setter, case inverter, baler.
A. CARTON ASSEMBLER
1.Manually load cartons, partitions, on to magazines of carton assembler, partition inserter and see that these machines continue to operate and function as designed to do. Involves some button pushing when machines stop due to jams.
2.Turn off equipment in case of malfunction and notify supervisor or maintenance.
3.Unjam machines and conveyors by stopping and removing materials.
4.Inspect and observe cartons, partitions, for obvious defects, check fiber tears, notify foreman of any defects found and record on carton quality check sheet.
5.Remove wraps, straps, top tier sheets, cut bands on pallet load. Unload cartons, trays and partitions from pallet loads.
6.Check and keep glue pot filled and steamers filled with water. Fill water jars with water, lift and pour on steamers.
7.Perform carton salvaging.
8.May manually fold and assemble carton, insert interior packing such as pads, liners, partitions, carriers into assembled outer carton when equipment malfunctions.
9.Keep work area clean and orderly by sweeping the floors and picking up materials and waste.
10. Get assembled cartons from conveyor to stack to an area to keep lines supplied in case of equipment malfunction.
11. Monitor case packers, miss-pack detector, partition inserter, seal-after equipment.
12. May hand pack ware
1.Operate carton, de-caser or de-bulk palletizer when in use.
a. Operate simple lever to automatically convey tiers of ware forward onto a pallet.
b. Operate simple push-button controls to position pallet for bulk/carton palletizing
2.Monitor all automatic palletizers and alert mechanic if malfunction exists. See that palletizers continue to operate and function as designed to do.
3.Monitor conveyors to ensure unimpeded flow of de-cased bottles or cartons and correct any conditions causing impeded flow.
4.Unjam palletizer by stopping it, removing affected material and then restart palletizer
5.Be alert when materials to palletizers are running low.
6.Manually build loads as required when automatic equipment breaks down or malfunctions.
a. Position pallets and stack cartons of ware from conveyors onto pallets according to pattern or unit load diagrams or per instructions.
b. Obtain and place protection materials such as separator sheets, top caps, corners, shrouds and apply string or strapping according to pallet patterns. Place shrink wrap on laods as required.
7.Keep work area clean and orderly by sweeping the floors and picking up materials and waste.
C. MATERIAL SUPPLY
1.Using forklift, supplies and maintain cartons, carriers, partitions, glue buckets, picture frames, pallets, tier sheets to carton assembly area, load building machines and all other areas requiring opearting materials.
2.Assemble and move excess cartons and components from assembly area and stores in designated storage area.
3.Change strapping materials on auto strapper machine.
4. prepare and attach load tags on finished loads.
5.Sort tier sheets, pallets, picture frames, top sheets. May clean pallets using air hose.
6.Truck filled waste and cullet hoppers to dumpsters and returns empty hoppers to stations.
7.May transport ware from warehouse to de-casing area.
8.Keep work area clean and orderly. Remove trash and cullet.
9.Keep fork lift truck supplied with fuel, oil and water.
D. PAPER BALER OPERATION
1.Start, stop and feed paper baler to bale scap paper.
a. Transport waste cartons, papers to paper baler.
b. Strap or wire bales and remove from baler, weigh and move bales to storage area.
2.Load trucks with bales as required and transport to storage area or shipping out area.
3.Keep work area clean and orderly. Remove trash and cullet.
E. HI-LIFT TRUCKER/UTILITY WORKER
1.Operate lift truck to transport and store good or held ware received from plants or outside warehouse as directed using bins given. Truckers are to store ware utilizing all space available in the warehouse (Max cubing).
2.Truck ware from warehouse locations to shipping trucks or trailers. Load carriers per loading diagram or Warehouse Manager's instructions. May hand stack ware to assure tight load and place separator sheets.
3.Using computer bricks, scan all load tags stored and shipped to keep inventory accurate.
4.May perform physical inventory item counts. All counts will be compared to the O-I S&S Locator system.
5.Keep records of all ware stored or removed from warehouse by customers, quantities, locations. May complete necessary shipping forms, such as loading tally sheets, bill of lading, loading diagrams. Make sure Bill of Landing is signed by truck driver.
6.Truckers are to inspect trailers prior to loading. The trailers are to be cleaned with no holes. Make sure automatic dock locks and check lights are operating properly for safety measures.
7.Each load is to be staged prior to loading. Truckers are to inspect the staged loads for dust, insects, crushed cases, broken pallets, broken glass, bird droppings, bat feces, bad stretched wrap, etc. Check integrity of loads. For un-shippable loads, set aside the loads, fix before loading to trailers, or storing in warehouse bin locations.
8.Unload and inspect returned empty pallets from customers, plants or other warehouses. Truckers are to receive a hand tag from trucking company or customer. Incoming pallets are to be inspected and counted by truckers. If any are bad, broken, odd size pallets are found, the trucker is to notify the warehouse manager. All pallets are to be stored in warehouse 40 high in neat rows, separated by size. Complete and maintain records of pallets recieved, sent, returned.
9.Truckers shipping pallets from warehouse should have miscellaneous shipping manifest, stating on bill of lading the size, number of pallets, total weight, delivery location. No trucks are to leave the warehouse without a bill of lading.
10. Maintain forklift by filling propane tank, daily checks list, and reports mechanical malfunctions to Warehouse Manager.
11. Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. Required to sweep, clean, restack spilled loads, clean lunchroom and bathrooms, drives power sweeper, inside and outside of warehouse.
At least 18 years of age.
High School Graduate or GED.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate using English language

Dry Etch Senior/Principal Development Process Engineer
As a Senior Dry Etch Process Development Engineer at IM Flash, you will work in industry-leading semiconductor process technology related to new memory devices and technologies. The Charge Nurse -- LVN manages patient care and collaborates with the nursing team and other disciplines, patients and families to ensure the development of effective plans of care.
1.1 Collaborates with the Nurse Leader to:
1.1.1 Exchange information regarding patient care, condition and all matters related to patient care and unit operations (i.e., admission, discharges, transfers, out of or within the building), and makes recommendations to meet needs;
1.1.2 Maintain adequate nursing coverage to provide safe nursing care;
1.2 Ensures that patients' needs are met including:
1.2.1 Call lights are answered promptly;
1.2.2 Patient/family concerns are addressed;
1.2.3 Assisting with physician appointments;
1.3 Collaborates with other departments to provide timely effective care consistent with individuals' needs, choices and preferences;
1.4 Answers any/all emergencies throughout the shift (i.e., change of condition, starting
IVs, pronouncement of death);
1.5 Stays and works beyond scheduled shift if needed to meet state staffing requirements and/or needs of patients;
1.6 Promotes a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment;
1.7 Participates in meetings to address patient care, survey and/or standards of care issues as requested;
2.1 Ensures patient care assignments are consistent with staff competencies, scope of practice and the needs of the patients;
2.2 Promotes an environment that is respectful, team oriented and responsive to the concerns of staff, patients and families;
2.3 Completes rounds on the unit to observe patients and to determine if nursing needs are being met;
2.4 Provides patient care when required;
2.5 Monitors nursing care to ensure positive clinical outcomes and minimize re- hospitalizations;
2.6 Ensures Point Click Care (PCC) is utilized according to the Business Processes;
2.7 Contacts attending physician to obtain orders as indicated (i.e., admission, change in condition, etc.);
2.8 Oversees medication management to ensure adequate supplies and that all medications are handled in accordance with Genesis policy;
2.9 Ensures communication between licensed nursing staff and CNAs during and between shifts;
2.10 Participates in shift-to-shift communication between incoming and outgoing nursing staff;
2.11 Ensures that Physician Orders are followed as prescribed;
2.12 Ensures timely and accurate compliance of the MDS process and that it reflects the patient's plan of care as requested;
2.13 Ensures that patient's attending physician and family or responsible party are promptly
notified of any significant change in the patient's health condition;
2.14 Coordinates discharge planning process for assigned patients;
2.15 Investigates patient/family complaints and takes appropriate actions to bring to resolution;
3.1 Identifies educational needs of the staff and communicates needs to the Nurse Leader;
3.2 Participates in the evaluation of staff competency as requested (excluding RNs);
3.3 Demonstrates, teaches and evaluates nursing skills utilized in direct patient care of the unit's specific patient population;
4.1 Participates in quality improvement activities as requested;
4.2 Ensures that the patients' Care Plans are implemented and periodically reviewed and modified as necessary;
4.3 Ensures that Physician Orders are followed as prescribed;
4.4 Ensures complete and prompt reporting of incidents, accidents, and adverse events to the Nurse Leader;
5.Enhances nursing practice by attending all mandated in-service programs and other GHC and outside professional education programs;
6.Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI) at all times;
7.Performs other duties as requested.
1.Complies with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including but not limited to those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act and HIPAA.
2.Participates in required orientation and training programs.
3.Promptly reports concerns and suspected incidences of non-compliance to supervisor, Compliance Liaison or to the Compliance Officer via the Integrity Hotline.
4.Cooperates with monitoring and audit functions and investigations.
5.Participates, as requested, in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing. 2.
A minimum of two years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of one years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing is preferred. 3. This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs. 4. Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy.
TSTs will be administered at the work site if required. 5. Maintains current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and Behavioral Centers; ALFs/ILFs as required by State).
