ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recipe & Production control
Recipes and production lists are explicitly followed
Attention to dates and freshness of every product
Proper shrink reporting and handling on outdated items
Ensures high quality standards are met in all items produced
Adherence to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices
Cleanliness of Baker prep areas
All areas and surfaces must be cleaned and sanitized at all times

Preschool Literacy Tutor - Educator Corps - Hand In Hand Preschool
A Preschool Literacy Tutor – Educator Corps is a current employee (classroom teacher, para or aid) of the service site where they serve. The tutor serves in a classroom of children ages 3 – 5 to develop children's early literacy skills in preparation for kindergarten. Tutors are trained in research-based early literacy strategies and collaborate with the classroom teaching staff to enhance daily literacy opportunities and conduct literacy assessments to increase the number of children on target with early reading predictors. This is an AmeriCorps service member position with the AmeriCorps program, Minnesota Reading Corps.
Early Literacy Instruction and Assessment
Provide intentional, meaningful and fun literacy instruction during all parts of the day to improve the early literacy skills of children ages 3 – 5, specifically focusing on the "Big Five Emergent Literacy Skills" that give children the opportunity to talk, read, write and play every day.
Write a theme related lesson plan each week that reflects daily talking, reading and writing with children.
Plan and facilitate small group literacy instruction as part of the daily routine.
Enhance the classroom literacy environment, as described in the Early Literacy and Language Classroom Observation (ELLCO), to achieve a "Basic" or "Better" score on the ELLCO by spring.

Record updates to applicable logs I.e. Seeding Log, Field Log, Daily Work Log, etc.
Advise Farm & Equine Coordinator when supplies are needed
Execute off property errands as needed
Complete building projects or improvements as needed
Occasionally assist Farm Facilitators in preparation of classes and programs as needed
Report issues that could adversely affect the guest experience or team safety to the Farm Operations Manager and/or the Farm & Equine Coordinator in a timely manner
Participate in available training opportunities and apply learning and newly identified best practices where possible
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, sun and dust for extended period of time
Must be able to perform all tasks associated with farming including ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs.
Must have valid driver's license
CPR/First Aid Certified/Wilderness First Aid preferred or ability to become certified within 30 days of start date
Education and/or Experience
Agricultural production: 2+ years field experience preferred
Sustainable mixed vegetable production: 1+ years field training preferred

Responsibilities and Qualifications
Our 16 member Orthopedic Surgery group is seeking an additional Board Certified/Eligible Hand Surgeon who has completed/is completing an Orthopedic training program and a Hand fellowship. You would join three other successful hand surgeons within the Ortho group who practice exclusively at Mercy. Along with our 866-bed level-one trauma center with 30 OR's, you'll experience innovation and a progressive practice environment at Mercy's new 48-bed dedicated Orthopedic Hospital with 10 OR's of its own.
