Our client, a stable multi-site plywood manufacturer, is seeking a Dry End Supervisor for their Southern USA location. You’ll report directly to the Superintendent. We are looking for a leader for this role: Someone who is driven, detailed-orientated to assist in the supervision of Dry end operations and provide personal ownership for various improvement areas. You will leverage your expertise to troubleshoot, improve machinery performance, mentor and coach others in a team environment.
You main responsibilities will be for the dry end operations of the plywood division including, testing, planning production schedules, resolving quality issues, as well as train and coach with a safety first mindset.

At this time we are currently looking for four Dry B Operators. This position is within our pool dvision and is responsible for the transfer and compaction of dry product. Duties include but are not limited to, the safe and productive operation of the equipment in the field, as well as the smooth operation of the equipment. Monitors equipment in the field for proper performance, such as product elevators, rotary feeders, conveyors, blowers, air conditioning machines, rotary screens, baghouses, compactors, surge bins, etc., by making appointed rounds, taking readings, blending and packaging of finished product in selected container, staging finished product in designated area according to company specification, and responding to the needs requests of the Control Rooms "B" Operator that pertain to the safe and productive operation of the plant. Essential Job FunctionsKey Responsiblities and Task
Monitors equipment from the Central Control Room for proper performance by monitoring and operating P.L.C.computer monitors. Shut down and start up of equipment in a safe and proper order.
Communicates with field "B" operators to assure safe and productive operation of equipment.
The field "B" operator is responsible for dumping and blending the correct product agents based on specification, monitoring the filling stations, monitors the flow as well as product level in the tote bins, then places the product on a loading station, using forklift. Excessive product must be placed in either tote bins or super sacks and reworked into process.
Makes appointed rounds and takes readings.
Records correct daily production numbers on morning report.
Prepares equipment for maintenance and deconning and deenergizing. (Deconning sometimes requires hours of shoveling product from equipment and floor surfaces to properly decon the equipment.)
Responds to plant emergencies – decomposition of product, power failures, spills, fires, explosions, and any other related emergency situations. During emergency situations it may be necessary for the "B" operator to don a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus.
Collects and analyzes process samples.
Maintains housekeeping duties in assigned zones and conducts safety inspections.
Recycles drums of recyclable material as required.
Participate in all aspects of the safety program including safety meeting attendance and participation.
Operates a fork lift to move and/or re-locate material or equipment.
Packaged in super sacks or drums. The field "B" operator is responsible for determining the correct packaging material, visually inspect packaging for defects and staging correct packaging material for required specified product on a daily basis before packaging finished product. Responsible for reworking recycled product back into the correct mix if product is not in specification.
Upon completion of container / package the field "B" operator must place the correct identification labels, assign lot numbers and a sample taken for QAQC certification on the package daily.
The container must be transported by forklift for 24 hour storage.
Responsible for filing all inventory tags in the designed file in numerical order and complete the required production reports for inventory control reporting.
Performs other duties and assignments as directed by supervisor.
Assist other Dry B Operators as needed. Qualifications- High school diploma and/or completed a process technology degree and/or 3 years of previous operator experience.
Preferred 3 months of forklift experience.
Ability to operate a forklift while wearing a negative full face respirator.
Ability to wear respiratory protective equipment for extended periods of time.
Ability to speak and comprehend verbal instruction with respirator on in order to effectively communicate with coworkers as well as monitoring equipment.
Must be able to wear SCBA gear during emergency situations.
Ability to ascend stairs up to 80' in height.

STATEMENT OF JOB The Dry Operator operates and controls the process for making a variety of different dry chemical blends and finished products.
Dumps batches from Ball Mill or Littleford Blender, transfers product to various hoppers and performs process troubleshooting.
May also be called upon to weigh out raw materials and prepare batch charges for Multi System and Ross Mixer.
Transfers finished products from totes utilizing the tote tilt transfer system.

Document and record downtime and machine adjustments
Understand and practice loss control of raw and packaging materials
Assist in preventative maintenance duties with the assistance of the maintenance team.

Work with teams to identify process issues and improvement opportunities by actively participating in continuous improvement activities

Dry Lab Tech I - 2Nd Shift
DRY LAB TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT
1.0 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Evaluate cross section samples in accordance with customer specifications, IPC and Mil specs
Generate cross section lab report and issue NCMR for non-conforming products
Prep micro section sample coupons including: baking, cutting, mounting, grinding, and polishing specimens
Perform solderability and steam age testing
Support Final QC in conforming with customer cross section requirements for shipping
Must meet all department quality and throughput requirements as well as follow all company policies and procedures
Must be flexible in working in various departments as needed and support overtime needs
The successful candidate will be a hands-on, success driven individual with:
High School or equivalent or previous experience in cross section preparation and analysis
Must have a minimum of 3 years of micro section analysis experience
Knowledge in PWB acceptance criteria in accordance with IPC and Military specifications
Experienced in IPC 6012 and 6013, Mil specs 31032, 55110, 50884 current amendments, J-STD-003 and applicable printed circuit industry standards.
Familiar with microsectioning techniques per IPC-TM 650
Ability to read and interpret customer blue print and specification
Must know computer data entry and microscope operation
Must be familiar with microscope and laboratory procedures in manufacturing environment
PCB related experience is a plus.
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
