This position performs a variety of basic tasks. A candidate for this position must be in good physical condition as he/she will be required to work within conditions that are sometimes less than ideal, such as outdoors during inclement winter, including exposure to wood dust and loud noises daily. Must also possess the ability to follow directions and work without constant supervision
Operator must be able to operate all Forklifts in safe and productive manner while stacking rough green lumber on Kiln trucks and in green yard as well as when putting lumber in dry sheds.
What you need to succeed:

Complies with Company policies and exhibits professional conduct at all times.
Physically capable of lifting and placing cross pieces on packs of lumber (as much as 50 pounds).
Keep close attention to quality when stacking packs to avoid down grade.
Must be able to distinguish size, widths, lengths, or types of lumber.
Must be able to stack lumber on Kiln trucks.
Must be able to keep up with production demands at green stacker.
Must keep assigned Forklift clean and greased.
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and overtime.
Must be able to drive a 35,000 pound Forklift.
A high school diploma or GED
Safety and good housekeeping are a must.
Must be able to read, write and understand written materials. Perform basic math computations as required for safety, quality, and production functions.
The ability to follow oral and written instructions and policies.
Should be able to communicate verbally and with hand signals.

Day Dry Forklift Operator
The Forklift Operator will transport incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots, on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area and replenish / re-stock pick slots in a timely manner ensuring all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met and to maintain the efficient flow of the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
Work from receiving sheets, computer print-out, established procedures and practices, written and /or verbal instructions.
Locate and perform count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transport to freezer with forklift / pallet jack.
Inspect items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks and take appropriate action as needed.
Locate proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into RF unit.
Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day's work orders.
Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and / or remove out dated out of date inventory according to company policy.
Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles.
Inspect empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area.
Perform general housekeeping duties in work area as needed.
Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
Perform other similar duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.
At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
1-2 years warehouse and/or distribution work experience
Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
6+ months experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position
Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry

Loads/Unloads cores in setters and/or saggers per Product Criteria instructions
Loads/Unloads setters and/or saggers onto kiln beds
Pyrometric cones/temp check tabs
Transfers setters into and out of setter storage area
Evaluate setters for serviceability.
Maintain location records
Loads/Unloads core into prebake and anneal oven per PC instructions
Periodically records data from kilns
Immediately reports any apparent malfunctions of the kilns
Accurately records all data as required and assures that all previous operations have been completed
Prolonged exposure to radiant heat from furnaces, hot vessels, hot metal, and hot tasks where there is a clear sensation of warmth on the skin for at least 15 minutes.

What you'll do:
Do you enjoy your days being full of variety? As a Dry Blend Operator, you'll see a product's transformation from individual ingredients to finished product.
You'll follow instructions provided on a recipe card or "batch ticket" listing which ingredients you'll gather, and the amount needed. If you're active, this is the role for you! You'll use your hustle for transporting bags of sweet and savory ingredients such as natural flavoring, essential oils, and other powder season mixes to other team members.
From there, the fine particle ingredients are blended to complete the product; then bagged and hand palletized. When mixed together, these tasty flavors create dust and strong smells (not to worry, we provide protective face masks to help offset the effects). Dry Cask Storage Project Manager (Plant Farley)
Southern Nuclear Company's Rx Services organization is seeking a high performing Project Manager to serve as a Dry Cask Storage Project Manager at Southern Nuclear. This position is responsible for the company's long-term used fuel storage program at Plant Farley. The successful candidate will project manage the periodic Used Fuel Loading Outages at Plant Farley and own other dry cask related project needs at the site.. This position manages $6-10 million a year in ongoing capital and O&M expenditures during the canister deliveries and loadings. This position will be located at Southern Nuclear's Plant Farley in Columbia, AL.
Summary of Position Duties
Manage Plant Farley Dry Cask Storage to ensure seamless execution of Used Fuel Loading Outages (UFLO) performance. Project management duties include:
Ensure work orders are planned and scheduled
Ensure high work quality and safety standards are maintained
Oversight and administration of contracts with primary cask vendor Holtec as well as other vendors and subcontractors to provide labor and material for dry cask loading UFLOs
Oversight of site personnel including but not limited to RP, maintenance, OPS, security, chemistry and others to ensure seamless dry cask loading schedules are implemented.
Manage fuel, capital and O&M budgets for projects within acceptable variances
Develop comprehensive long range plan for Farley
Site owner and knowledge of Dry Cask Storage
Take ownership of oversight of non-loading related Dry
Ensure RCN 605 is on budget for Plant Capital, Plant O&M and Fuel Capital costs to support due diligence and companywide cost containment efforts.
Ensure individual work decisions are made with awareness of impacts on overall budget and resource loading.
Monitor and use industry and fleet OE to enhance Dry Cask Storage effectiveness
Provide Support and Perform of the Dry Cask Storage organization with quality, timely and cost effective products that consistently support a healthy Dry Storage organization.
Provide Oversight for every Used Fuel Loading Outage execution at the plant sites to ensure the expected standards and behaviors are being implemented and results achieved.
Provide technical conscious for Holtec FSAR and CoC compliance during UFLO execution and DCP process.
Support FSAR revisions and CoC amendment adoption/upgrades and 72.212 revisions with Corp/Site Licensing, Nuclear Fuel and Rx Engineering as required to execute Used Fuel Loading Outages and meet fleet loading objective
Own site DCS governance changes as needed to ensure industry best practices are incorporated and gaps to excellence are closed.
Perform vendor oversight duties for canister deliveries
Point of contact for Daily POD/OCC meetings to communication program and status and threats to the organization
Implement and maintain equipment, refueling and UFLO MS Project/P6 schedules for work management
Perform vendor document reviews relative to TR-602 and Task Director requirements
Coordinate and drive pre-loading/pre-outage management readiness review and post loading/outage critiques
Issue daily UFLO status reports and other critical DCS communications to site management
Back up Refueling Project Manager for Reactor Cavity Services scope of work during Refueling Outages and the same will be reciprocated by the Refueling Project Manager during the Dry Cask Storage window.
Periodic travel to other sites (Hatch or Vogtle) to support dry cask loading UFLOs
Support a Safety Conscience Work Environment by promoting open communication, the identification of best practices and correction of safety issues.
Perform all work with a focus on personnel safety resulting in ZERO OSHA Recordables, Lost Time Accidents, First Aid Cases and automobile accidents.
Model situational awareness with every job and NEVER proceed in the face of uncertainty.
Intervene when staff and coworkers do not meet safety standards.

The Dry Cleaning Assistant Production Manager will also assist with managing the daily operations of a 5,000 sq. ft. dry cleaning and laundry production facility.
Assist with hiring, training and coaching a team of associates that represents the high quality of Dependable Cleaners' standards
Ensure quality and production standards are met through coaching, training and management of all cleaning, pressing and assembly functions
Assist with resolving both internal and external client's issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Provide a clean, organized and inviting environment for both clients and associates
Assist with human resource related tasks including recruiting, on boarding, payroll and scheduling, safety and store security
Qualifications and Skills:
2 to 4 years' experience in operations management; prior experience in a fast-paced customer service production environment or dry cleaning/laundry experience a plus
Demonstrated supervisory skills in a fast-paced production environment
Strong customer service skills
Excellent leadership qualities, training, team building and mentoring skills
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented work ethic
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends

This role is responsible for correctly, safely and efficiently packaging and warehousing salt products for a salt manufacturing and packaging facility.
Operating salt conveying equipment, operation of packaging and related equipment, operating mobile equipment. This can include, but is not limited to, working with bulk trucks, rail hoppers and box cars.
Ensures proper storage, loading and shipping/receiving of packaged products.
Strict compliance with safe work rules, good housekeeping practices and specified FSQR policies / procedures / standards.
Input production and downtime information into SAP and Informance.
Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
Perform any miscellaneous duties as assigned including but not limited to: minor maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance tasks, housekeeping tasks, product quality testing tasks, confined space entries (bin entries), repalletizing / disposal of distressed products, etc.

At least (1 year) of experience in a production or plant environment.

Prior experience in production related.
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating a forklift and/or warehousing experience
Experience with SAP and/or a HMI
Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (ex., packaging machinery, etc.)
Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Experienced at problem solving with co-workers
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner
Demonstrated ability to follow directions (written and spoken)
Demonstrated ability/desire to produce quality work, results and products
Willing to be cross-trained and to assist in other departments as necessary
Demonstrated ability to work well in teams
Demonstrated positive attitude toward/interest in safety and safe work rules.
