DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate Automatic Punch Press equipment
Identify process, material and equipment problems.
Final audit, inspection packing
Move parts by hand using a hand truck.
Complete daily production paper work including move tickets, quality log sheets and safety checks.
May operate power truck to push, pull, lift or move products, or materials.

STATEMENT OF JOB The Dry Operator operates and controls the process for making a variety of different dry chemical blends and finished products.
Dumps batches from Ball Mill or Littleford Blender, transfers product to various hoppers and performs process troubleshooting.
May also be called upon to weigh out raw materials and prepare batch charges for Multi System and Ross Mixer.
Transfers finished products from totes utilizing the tote tilt transfer system.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Under the general supervision of the Production Team Manager, the Dry Blend Operator will process ingredients in blending equipment to make batch formulations. Complete required production records and input data into SAP.
Set up and start automatic blending equipment.
Continuously and repeatedly load packaging and raw materials.
Pack off finished product, perform checks on critical timing of equipment, prepare equipment half an hour to one hour prior to shift start.
Make product change-over, package size changes, minor repairs on all equipment
Understand scheduling and can adequately perform in the absence of the crew leader
Be responsible for quality and quantity of production on a daily basis.
Document and record downtime and machine adjustments
Understand and practice loss control of raw and packaging materials
Assist in preventative maintenance duties with the assistance of the maintenance team.
Follow detailed procedures and complete paperwork accurately to ensure safe, consistent, and quality product.
Work with teams to identify process issues and improvement opportunities by actively participating in continuous improvement activities
Actively promote safety and identify unsafe actions and conditions through the use of a principle-based safety approach.
Complete monthly safety and quality inspections on assigned weeks.
Replenish production line(s) by operating a fork lift in a safe manner.
Mathematically calculate batch and material usage.

This job description is to outline the role, responsibilities, general tasks and functions of the Fork Truck Operator, Dry Warehouse on what they do in their daily operations. Must be safety and quality oriented; must be clean, follow GMPs, wear proper PPE, and practice good housekeeping; work in a team environment or alone when required; must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment; maintain good communication with other Team Members, Shift Leads, Shift Supervisor, and Manager; work in any and all departments if needed; must be flexible to changing schedules and additional hours as needed; must be able to take and fulfill orders for multiple different items and areas at one time; must be able to work on multiple tasks during the shift.

Maintain battery room clean and organized at all times.
Change and maintain batteries, and associated equipment, in a timely manner.
