This position will require an individual who takes pride and ownership in his/her work, and is willing to accept total responsibility for the performance of the oven operation on his/her shift. This individual’s key role is to manage the oven and depanning equipment on their shifts to meet our product quality specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sets oven controls to specified temperature and bake times. Adjust controls as necessary to maintain the proper product specifications.
Manages the oven profile temperatures during production gaps to eliminate overbaked product from the oven.
Monitors the product for the desired proof size and shape. Notifies the plant supervisor via radio when the product is out of specification.
Maintains log sheets as necessary that are required for Quality Assurance.
Reports equipment problems to Supervisor and maintenance personnel.
Cleans work area and tools. Performs other duties in production as necessary.
Assists in training of new employees or employees who change job classifications.
Maintain a high level of sanitation and GMP’s.
Promotes safety in the work area by understanding and complying with safety procedures and reporting all accidents in timely manner

Responsible for operating machines to ensure that quality standards are consistently met, the line meets schedule attainment and line efficiency standards, the mechanical operations run smoothly and the line workers are directed properly.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
May perform one or all of the following job functions:
Demonstrate leadership by directing employees to assist others where needed on other lines or rework when machines are down.
Encourage team to be ready to start on time in the morning, after breaks and lunch.
Perform product quality and QA checks to eliminate or reduce product waste or rework, these may include but are not limited metal detection and blade inspection.
Maximize quality and efficiency by adjusting machine speed.
Encourage teamwork by informing each team member of their role and responsibility on the line and motivating team members to achieve expected hourly output.
Maintain current records by filling out required paperwork correctly and completely throughout the run.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and report malfunctions to a lead or supervisor.
Manage machine change over's including sanitizing machine for species or allergen changes.

Ensure all persons on the processing machines and crew are properly trained and time worked is properly recorded.
Ensure proper operation of machines by troubleshooting and making minor adjustments and make certain that machinery is in good repair. Maintain production equipment ensuring that quality and sanitation standards are met.
Follow through with processing personnel and give feedback on performance (speed, floor waste, quality control, etc.)
Assist lead and/or supervisor by training all new personnel, monitoring performance and ensuring that procedures are followed.
Maintain product integrity throughout the area of responsibility, checking product for proper materials, specifications, etc. Performs quality checks on product to ensure optimum quality.
Perform raw material audits and check weights.
Ensure proper set up, clean up and smooth operation of the machinery and area of operation.
Weigh and record all in-edibles.
Ensure that proper safety and sanitation measures are followed by instructing employees on proper company procedures and then monitoring personnel to make sure all procedures are being followed.
SCHEDULE: Positions are all shifts. 8 hour shifts with overtime required during peak summer/fall production.

This position exhibits the ability to safely operate any of the mold or belt ovens in the Pre-Cooked Dept., producing egg patties, omelets and French toast, to equally high standards of efficiency as set forth by the department. Thorough knowledge of all products; product specifications, cook procedures, pre-heat systems, and basic mechanical and technical knowledge of the ovens are required. This person needs to understand the use and controls of steam, oven temperatures, and dampers to produce product of the highest standard and document all parameter checks as prescribed (product temperature, weight, size, color, oven conditions, spiral conditions), on a timely basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to start production run of oven, achieve and maintain desired production levels on molded ovens.
Know how and when to set or adjust pre-heat temperatures, oven temperatures, and flow rates on molded ovens.
Know how to set fill parameters of hi-bar pumps and injectors and adjust as needed on molded ovens.
Replace O-rings and gaskets on pumps, change out fouled injector tips as needed, change pumps as needed.
Understanding of product recognition- need to develop knowledge of different products run on the oven and the specifications of those products, and when adjustments need to be made (for size, weight, color, and shape or "cupping") and take corrective action as needed.
Understand use of steam in the cooking process and use of dampers for air control within the oven and how to adjust if needed.
Documentation - keep thorough and accurate record of production data as outlined on Operators check sheets and do Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) documentation.
Know and understand the basic operation of spiral freezers.
Work with Lead Person to learn corrective actions appropriate to oven and/or product.
Knowledge of transfers from oven to spiral, belt placement and speed adjustments.
Ability to communicate with Lead and/or Supervisor issues and concerns pertaining to operations.
Remove and document waste/shrink, and assist in the general good housekeeping of the area as needed.
Understand the responsibilities of line workers assigned to molded ovens, monitor their performance and make corrections if necessary.
Work as a team member.
Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.

Under the direct supervision of the Shift Lead Operator and reporting to the Finishing area Manager, the Oven/Fabrication Operator is responsible for following procedures for Aerogel product manufacture, oven and fabrication equipment operation and safety requirements as documented by Aspen Aerogels.
Follow all safety procedures.
Safely and efficiently operate the Heat Treatment Oven(s) according to operating procedures, and/or as instructed
Follow product documentation and specification for correct equipment operation (Ex.: temperature, power, speed settings).
Visually inspect product appearance while equipment is running; communicating, flagging major defects and/or removing minor defects.
Follow product documentation (traveler) for correct tension setting, length measurement and removal. Record data as required.
Unload Aerogel blankets, label and document according to procedures.
Safely and efficiently operate Fabrication equipment (slitter, CNC and laminator) according to company procedures, and/or as instructed.
Program, run and troubleshoot CNC cutting machine, slitting machines, edge trimmers and coating machines. .
Perform material handling duties in a safe, conscientious manner.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine cleaning on equipment as per procedures and/or as directed by the Shift Leader.
Dispose of waste materials according to company procedures.
Ensure blanket samples (quality coupons) are taken as per specification and provided to Quality Control
Follow instructions as per company policy and Shift leader instructions including proper breaks, rest periods and attendance

Under direct supervision, this position works on the bakery production floor to accomplish various duties to operate equipment and handle product in the manufacturing and packaging of baked goods.
Essential Job Functions
Keep areas clean and safe throughout the work shift.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform somewhat diversified duties to dewax and cure molds following established methods and procedures.
Work from casting schedules and / or instructions to obtain molds from storage, move to ovens and load. Use fork lift and Taurus as necessary.
Start ovens, pumps, compressors and blowers.
Set and control temperatures for melt-out and curing cycles required. Maintain continuing check on oven temperatures and other requirements to assure compliance with time-temperature cycles and cooling routines as specified for the various mold and investment types.
Assist in unloading ovens and in other duties related to pouring operations in all areas such as positioning molds, removing molds after pouring, moving molds to cooling area. Exercise care in handling molds to avoid damage.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report these and any unusual conditions to supervisor.

Composite Parts Oven Operator - 2Nd Shift
Perform duties with autoclave and oven bonded parts and assemblies to properly cure composite parts.
Ability to perform composite bagger activities.
Perform complicated autoclave and oven bonding functions.
Works from bonding and process specifications, blueprints and production schedules to perform fabrication sequences for composite bonding.
Seals autoclave and checks for vacuum leaks and short circuits in the thermocouple wiring.
Interprets and applies the proper amount of heat and pressure from information on bonding process instruction sheets.
Checks recorder temperature control during the cure cycle to maintain proper conditions for valid bonding.
Determine practical method to improve assembly and fitting of most parts to eliminate bonding failures. Ensures proper processing, lay up and bagging techniques are maintained.
Diagnoses defective workmanship of parts and recommend corrective action.
Maintains shop record and assures parts are bonded according to production schedules. Monitors status and reports shortages of supplier and processing materials.
May occasionally assist in bagging operations and assist layup techs with core form operations.
Responsible for own work.
Performs other related duties as required.
High school education or equivalent and Textron Aviation's blueprint reading class preferred.
6 months of related experience in oven and or autoclave operations.
Rotational Molding Oven Operator
Operate rotational molding equipment to produce plastic parts as described on paperwork and as assigned by supervisor.
Check the paperwork against the molds that are on the machine.
Fill powder boxes and make sure that the box matches the mold.
Plan your shift, check mold sheet for colors and any mold changes that are to be made during your shift. Also, check for any cooling fixture changes.
Follow all safety procedures
Following quality procedure: Check paperwork for any special quality requirements in the set up guide. Sample parts, check paperwork in the job instruction packet, use white gloves on lighter colored parts, use white quality stickers and make sure the information is filled out and legible, use reject stickers on all nonconforming products produced and move the rejected parts to the area designated for disposition.
