DUPLICATING MACHINE OPERATOR (Photocopy Machine Operator;
Reproduction Worker) (1 each)
This category shall requires a Sensitive but Unclassified security clearance.
Major Duties: This position operates one or more photocopying, photographic,
mimeograph and duplicating office machines to make copies of documents such as
letters, reports, directives, manuals, articles and bulletins. Additional responsibilities
include: operating small binding machines, performing clerical duties associated with the
request for printing services, preparing assembly sheets, printing requisitions with
specifications for printing and binding, recording, delivering and collecting work. The
Duplicating Machine Operator performs minor repairs preventive maintenance, and
maintains an inventory of supplies and reproduction equipment paying particular attention to important variables indicated by trade name of machine. Inserts material to
be copied in document folder, and files folder for processing according to index code and
copying priority schedule. Important variables may be indicated by trade name of
machine operated. Other moving services within the scope of work may be assigned as
required by the COR through the contractor Program Supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent. Shall be able to read, write and
speak English fluently, and be fully trained in the requirements of this contract. Shall
possess the general knowledge of an office environment. Shall have a minimum of three
years general office experience. Shall have a minimum of one year specialized
experience as a duplicating / photocopying machine operator. Shall be physically able to
perform the assigned work which includes lifting boxes of paper frequently weighing up
to seventy-five (75) pounds. Shall have a minimum of one year specialized experience
using the Windows XP environment and word processing software such as, MSWord,

Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Copy Center, the incumbent will be responsible for the timely production of all reprographic work. He/she will scan and manipulate documents using a variety of different software programs.
They will perform task such as: cutting, pasting, creating mail merges, and general digital file management. He/She will retrieve, create, print, and store complex digital documents and be responsible for light equipment maintenance. The candidate will also help with paper deliveries, paper inventory management, bindery work as required, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of machine operator experience required.
Previous experience in a walk-in xerographic environment a must. Successful candidate should have a strong visual orientation and a thorough working knowledge of xerography equipment capabilities and general production methods. Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Work with the project team to complete duplicating requests and prioritize workflow
Operate production, printing, and scanning equipment to reproduce internal client and firm documentation
Process and produce reproduction project requests
Perform stapling, binding, folding, trimming, and scoring
Scan documents for e-delivery
Minimum of one year of experience in a reprographic environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating binding and copying equipment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to multitask and reprioritize based on changing deadlines and project requirements
Flexible to work overtime as needed

The City of Florissant is accepting applications for part-time park File Clerk.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION
Maintains all operations of the Print Room, Mailing services and Microfilming for the City.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes all incoming and outgoing mail
Receives and distributes mail from USPS and other sources
Applies postage to outgoing mail
Prepares outgoing mail for pick-up and/or delivery to USPS
Picks-up and delivers interoffice mail several times a day
Operates and oversees the postage machine
Ensures funds are in machine for postage needs
Orders postage when necessary
Completes daily postage report from machine readings
Tracks departmental postage use on daily basis
Prepares and distributes monthly postage report to department heads and mayor
Processes and oversees bulk mailings for the City
Tracks funds for bulk mailing in conjunction with USPS
Track upcoming bulk mailing events and prepares for same
Ensure that funds for mailings are received by the USPS
Completes all printing jobs for the City
Performs printing services such as copies, booklets, color presentations etc, for the entire city staff.
Completes reports on copy machine usage
Operates folding machine, binder, and scanner
Ensures that all city hall copiers are in good working order
Tracks and schedules routine maintenance
Orders repairs when necessary
Fixes mechanical and other problems when feasible
Orders copier supplies
Completes all microfilming for the city and prints out documents when requested
Operates City switchboard when needed
Performs other duties as directed
Graduation from high school or GED. Previous office experience a plus. Must have comprehensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Position not to exceed 29 hours weekly.

- Follow GMPs, SOPs and safety rules in order to maintain a safe, quality conscience work envirorment at all times.
