The Machine Operator II position is responsible for the safe operation of production machinery to ensure continued and efficient production runs. Incumbents of the Machine Operator II position must be certified in lock out / tag out procedures and must possess some mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills. Major Duties: This position operates one or more photocopying, photographic,
mimeograph and duplicating office machines to make copies of documents such as

High school diploma or equivalent. Shall be able to read, write and
speak English fluently, and be fully trained in the requirements of this contract. Shall
possess the general knowledge of an office environment. Shall have a minimum of three
years general office experience. Shall have a minimum of one year specialized
experience as a duplicating / photocopying machine operator. Shall be physically able to
perform the assigned work which includes lifting boxes of paper frequently weighing up

Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Copy Center, the incumbent will be responsible for the timely production of all reprographic work. He/she will scan and manipulate documents using a variety of different software programs.
They will perform task such as: cutting, pasting, creating mail merges, and general digital file management. He/She will retrieve, create, print, and store complex digital documents and be responsible for light equipment maintenance. STATEMENT OF JOB The Finisher pre-treats raw and fabricated parts prior to painting by loading them onto a dipping system that runs them through a series of chemical baths.
The finisher also paints a variety of parts using a powder paint system; helps load and unload the paint line, pumps chemicals to and from the chemical baths.
Runs test on the chemicals and to insure they are within specifications.
This position requires Associates placed in the position to successfully complete specific training.

From written instructions, fills tanks with metal conditioning and plating solutions.
Following written instructions from the QC Inspector, makes all necessary additions to the solutions to maintain proper titration strength in the metal conditioning tanks.
Periodically dumps all metal conditioning tanks.
From written or verbal instructions, mixes a variety of enamels and primers for the liquid paint line, insuring proper viscosity and color.
Lights, checks, and adjusts oven paint heater temperature and atomizing pressure according to verbal instructions and paint line situation.
Cleans paint booths periodically by removing grease layer from all surfaces and applying a new layer.
Removes daily any accumulation of paint on the surface of the water reservoir.
Adjusts spray guns to gain the proper width and pressure to insure proper millage is applied to a variety of parts used in manufacturing fire protection equipment.
Prepares all parts for painting by manually loading parts on racks and into baskets and by using a power hoist, submersing the parts into the various metal conditioning solutions.
Manually removes parts from racks or baskets and places them on carts.
Performs salvage operations by manually placing painted parts into baskets and submersing them into hot paint stripper.
After removing parts from stripper, steel wools residue.
Occasionally performs hand sanding on reworked parts.
