CGI Federal is currently seeking a Supervisory Photocopy Operator to support the CIVIL division of the Department of Justice in downtown DC.
General supervisory support service responsibilities include providing service for a full service copy center including copy/print services utilizing high-speed copiers and other services such as cutting, folding, laminating, binding, etc. Other duties will include inspection of copiers daily, making sure equipment is functioning and fully stocked with paper, toner, staples, etc., respond to trouble calls as needed, and develop a preventative maintenance schedule for each piece of equipment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Operates high speed xerographic duplicators.
Adjusts and operates stitchers, multi-head drills, Seybold paper cutter, and various binding equipment.
Responsible for set-up, make-ready, operations, and operational maintenance of equipment.
Maintains job production records specifying quantity, production times, and material used.
Completes requisition forms when supplies are needed.
Maintains records related to machine maintenance and down-time.
Responsible for assuring that equipment, supplies, and other associated materials are available so that the operation is ready to meet requests for publishing services.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have the ability to operate and perform adjustments and minor repairs on a wide assortment of printing and binding equipment. This includes but is not limited to the following machines:
Xerox 5390, 5100, 1090; Kodak 92P, 3100, 2085; Canon 6650, 6050, 2120; Risograph; Hamada Duetto press; Seybold paper cutter; multi-head drills; stitchers; and various tabletop binding equipment.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in performing work on the referenced equipment;
Must have good writing skills; excellent interpersonal communications skills; and the ability to work independently.
Candidates must be punctual and dependable, organized, details oriented, and have the ability meet strict deadlines and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background screening and Credit check as this position will require the ability to successfully acquire a government security clearance.

The Press Brake Set Up/Operator will be responsible for performing all phases of the press brake operation. This will include set up, programing and loading/unloading parts.
