Mill Equipment Operator :NM Mill
Responsible for operating and maintaining milling equipment, graders in the
mill, and hammermill operations as assigned.
Responsible for complying with all safety rules, procedures, and good
manufacturing practices set forth by the company and the government.
Must perform a variety of sanitation duties daily.
Must assist Shift Miller and/or other Mill Equipment Operators with any other mill
activity as needed.

Chem Mill Operator - Lpc-T/845
To chemically remove titanium stock from castings and prepare castings surfaces in order to met customer specifications. To accurately prepare, operate and maintain tanks used for chemical milling of all titanium castings and revert metal.
1.Casting PreparationObjective: to measure and inspect castings prior to milling which may require working with hazardous waste.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Reviews Technique Cards and paperwork.
B. Visually inspects castings for core material, scale, sand and other contaminants; may reject parts for chemical milling and reroute for cleaning.
C. Measures specified areas on castings using dimensional measuring devices and/or Ultrasonic Thickness testing equipment to determine amount of stock to be removed; records measurements.
2.Chemical Bath PreparationObjective: to take samples of chemical baths, make corrections, neutralize, pump and build baths prior milling to assure conformance to process control specifications; to test tank pumping systems prior to operation.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Checks daily lab analysis to determine if bath chemistry is within specification ranges; checks bath temperature.
B. Calculates etch rate using standard formula.
C. Adds acid to bath in order to bring chemistry up to specifications, using standard formulas; adjusts surface tension as needed.
D. Checks operations of circulation pumps; checks for leaks; troubleshoots and reviews pumping diagrams if needed.
E. Pumps spent tank solutions to neutralization facility; cleans and rinses tanks.
3.Chemical Mill OperationObjective: to submerge castings in baths and mill according to specified procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Submerges castings in chemical tanks using tumblers, fixtures and hoists; submerges castings into a nitric-hydrofluoric acid solution in accordance with Process Control Procedures.
B. Monitors milling operations; calculates etch rate and modified bath times accordingly.
C. Removes masking tape; places dried parts on pallets.
D. Removes castings, rinses and transfers to drying ovens.
4.Completes logs and records, including measurements, calculations, chemical additions and milling times.
5.Meets all production and quality standards.
6.Safety:Objective: to take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices.

CNC Mill Set-Up Operator A Temp To Hire
Summary: Operates multi-axis numerical control milling machine to mill surfaces of metallic work pieces. 4 Positions available on Day Shift and 4 Positions available on Second Shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Enters commands into control panel, to retrieve preprogrammed machine data from computer.
Inserts precision indicator in machine spindle, and depresses switches to jog spindle into contact with work piece, synchronize tape and tool, and record setup point.
Retracts spindle and loads and secures first preset tool and holder.
Starts machine and observes cutting operation.
Compares numerical data display with specifications on operations sheet.
Assembles and presets tooling for next operation during automated cycle to reduce machine downtime.

CNC Boring Mill Operator (Floor)
Job duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Setup and operate floor type CNC boring mill performing all operations, including setup, alignment and machining of weldments and casings to print specifications. The position may also require use of jib or overhead crane to manually position work pieces.
You will be responsible to perform very close tolerance operations such as boring, taper boring, facing, turning, chamfering, etc. on parts such as gears, racks, frames, drums, and weldments.
Minimum of 3 years of CNC boring mill experience.
Experience with CNC programming and G-code formats, including creating and editing programs.
Experience operating one or more of the following machines:
Vertical Boring Machine/Floor Mill
Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
