POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This position uses a Best Care Best Experience approach to perform routine food service tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, catering, dining room, dish room and patient areas. This includes preparing, serving, distributing food and cleaning, sanitizing dishes, utensils and work area while promoting a safe environment and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines.
Job duties in this position include:
Moving all equipment and thoroughly cleaning the floors; this includes moving carts, cold tables, reach in refrigerators and freezers, and shelving
Emptying and refilling mop bucket as needed to ensure the floors are clean
Clean handsinks and replenish papertowles and soap in dispensers
Sweep and mop catering, nourishment, cold prep areas, kitchen area, and dry storage area
Sweep entire department being sure to get under equipment
Using the floor machine, ensuring it is not scrated or dented
Mop the entire try line area being sure to get underneath the tray line and equpipment
Take out trash in the department and clean containers as needed
Sweep and mop the dumpster room and entry way areas
Clean the floor machine thoroughly
Take out linen bags, make sure dirty linen bag receptacle is clean and organized
Clean all dust pays (may be ran through the dish machine as the final items to be ran through

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
Lead projects, programs, and processes designed to reduce dust and improve the environmental footprint of the Cleveland Operation's production facilities.
Be the Subject Matter Expert for Dust control, Baghouse design and Combustible dust. Driving for compliance through adherence to NFPA Standards and the Ventilation Handbook.
Collaborate with the EHS department on performing dust risk assessments and compliance attainment.
Support other engineers in Plant Engineering to design and maintain effective and compliant dust control systems.
Work with outside contractors on installation and maintenance projects, ensuring contractor Safety and Compliance.
Work with the EHS department as new regulations are introduced to interpret the regulations and develop and implement the means to bring the Cleveland Operations to compliance.
Communicate and educate Cleveland Operations on new EHS regulatory requirements and EHS programs.
Support day-to-day production operations on environmental and health issues.
Work with ISO 14001 coordinators and Operations to ensure compliances with all Title five dust collection systems.
Keep up to date with regulatory agencies and policies; NFPA, OHSA, NEC, Ventilation Handbook etc.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required in an engineering field.
Minimum of 3 years' of professional experience.

Performs in a chemical manufacturing environment. Will operate mixers and auxiliary equipment per the batch ticket to ensure first run capability.
Will review and check batch ticket and raw materials for accuracy and completeness. Operates pumps, blenders, mixers, fork trucks, filtersa nd related processing equipment. Handles drums, totes, pails and other assorted containers.
Enters cycle time data. Draws samples and submits to QA to ensure on specification of product.
Selects and sets-up pumping equipment per filling ticket: properly stores unused raw materials; identifies appropriate type of batch; gathers hoses, fittings, adapters, and related equipment; selects proper pump; determines and implements proper filtration; drains pump canisters and ensures cleanliness of equipment.
Operates pumping equipment and monitors process, making adjustments as necessary: directs fork truck driver to deliver containers and raw materials; prepares containers with proper labels and stencils per fill ticket to ensure compliance with DOT requirements; positions pump in proper location; makes necessary liquid and chemical connections; fills containers to specification and properly closes/seals containers; relocates containers to shipping area.
Accurately maintains records and reports as required: completes daily batch tickets; records lot numbers of raw materials; calculates yields; completes filling ticket; transfers daily batch tickets to material handlers; communicates mixer status to on-coming shift.
Maintains Safety and Housekeeping standards associated with manufacturing activities: rinses mixers and pumps; relocates and store auxiliary equipment, product part and rinse water drums; mops and sweeps floors; wipes down and cleans equipment; relocates hazardous and non-hazardous wastes to appropriate area; keeps entire work area in a clean, organized and efficient state.
Experience and Education
Incumbent must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior industrial manufacturing experience and towmotor experience is preferred. Must successfully complete required production assessments.
Functional and Technical Skills
Must be able to work in a production environment and handle bags weighing up to 55 pounds and drums weighing up to 200 pounds. Must be able to work error free and attention to detail and work instruction compliance is critical.
Must be able to drive a fork truck or possess ability to be trained. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and overtime will be required. Will need to be clean shave to be able to wear a respirator when required along with other personal protective equipment.
