As a member of the team, the candidate will have responsibility to produce quality work with speed and accuracy.
Person will also be responsible for in process and fill start samples for the fill bench at times.
Works with Technical and Process Team to make sure we manufacture and process formulas as efficiently as possible
Experience and Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Chemistry and algebra courses desired.
Some college chemistry and math also desired.
Computer skills for data analysis are a necessity.
Lab experience normally includes at least 3 years in a Technical or QS function.
Incumbent must possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively use problem-solving methodologies, and have a solid knowledge of paint processes/adjustment strategies.

Responsible to perform complex laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, cells, and tissues. Identify bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, analyze chemical content of fluids, and cross match blood for transfusion and organ transplantation aseptically prepare cells for use in cellular therapies. The results of these tests are used in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Associates degree for Medical Laboratory Technician or bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science from an accredited institution required.
MLT (ASCP) - Medical Laboratory Technician, American Society of Clinical Pathology Certification (ASCP) required OR must be ASCP certified within one year of employment at the Penn State Hershey Department of Pathology.
Applicants trained outside of the United States must provide documentation of equivalency evaluation of their education and training to ensure it is equivalent to CLIA requirements. The equivalency evaluations will be performed by a nationally recognized organization. Ex. National Association Credential Evaluation Services, Inc.
