Your future challenges
The department you'll be working in is responsible for the development and maintenance of high precision and fast working stamping tools. We expect you to be a driver of developing the tools of tomorrow, while caring for and developing existing tools.
To be able to do so, collecting process data will be a natural part of your work. With freedom comes responsibility, and this position is given a generous amount of room to be inventive and influence the future of the factory.
You'll have a key role in educating and training colleagues. Development projects is a natural part of our day at the Edge factory, and you will participate as a specialist or project manager. The job is of administrative character, but you will also take part in the daily operations where the input data to tool development is generated.
We expect you to have some years of experience in tool making or stamping. Maybe you've been a stamping operator working closely with tooling departments, and now want to start working more towards tool making.
Experience in CAD is considered a merit. You have a technical education or similar level of knowledge obtained through working experience. You are comfortable in expressing your thoughts verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and in English.
You are outgoing and easy to work with. Your curiosity and analytical thinking motivates you to be the driver in development work and to make your knowledge available to others.

Roles and Responsibilities
Utilize 1D, 2D, and 3D computational electromagnetic codes such as method of moments (MoM) and physical optics (PO) to perform component and vehicle level design and analysis to ensure system survivability.
Perform survivability testing and data post-processing using Knowbell or Pioneer to verify survivability design of propulsion systems, edges, and/or surface details.
Support testing at indoor and outdoor testing facilities.
Perform trade studies on airframe components to analyze their impact on a systems level.
Work with other disciplines to integrate survivability requirements and designs into overall vehicle design and manufacturing plan.
Conduct component-level and/or total vehicle Radar Cross Section (RCS) roll-up using both analysis and test data.
