Move and lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs independently, and 100 lbs with assistance), climb, bend, scrap for cleaning of the of the blender, maneuver all work areas 7. Perform and understand critical safety procedures and execute Lock out Tag Out process consistently in addition to providing feedback on ways to improve safety, quality, waste and production targets 8. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including coverall suit, hood, gloves, steel-toed shoes and full face respirator 9.
Motivated to trouble shoot issues in a timely manner to ensure adherence to production demands and demonstrate flexibility regarding scheduling and changing production needs (including weekend work and overtime 12 hour shifts) 10. Attention to detail to ensure batch right first time and appropriate analytical problem solving skills to be deployed in the event of an excursion or non-conformance Why You? Basic qualifications:• High School Diploma • 1-2 years of Pharmaceutical (or equivalent) production (Mixing/Blending) • Must be flexible with schedule and adjust to changing production needs, including weekend work, overtime and 12 hour shifts. • Proper weighing, blending and drying raw materials according to Good Manufacturing Practice, Standard Operating Procedures, Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedures, Batch Production Records, etc. • Obtain GSK Forklift Certification • Transportation and proper storage of raw materials and ensure adequate supply of product. • Operating equipment and monitoring controls for consistent batch processing. • Maintaining equipment and manufacturing rooms in clean and sanitary condition. • Know and execute proper action for all deviations. • Work to achieve set targets (safety, batches right first time, production, waste, etc.) and provide root causes for targets not achieved. • Drive continuous improvement, providing feedback on ways to improve safety, quality, waste and production targets. • Perform minor preventative, scheduled maintenance and maintain personal PPE. • Good penmanship and oral communication skills.

Overview Make batches of liquid products in accordance with all established corporate policies related to safety and GMP. You are also expected to participate in departmental improvement activities like SOP writing, safety audits, and project teams.
Accurately weighing raw materials
Accurately documenting standard and non-standard making procedures
Transferring products to holding tanks
Sampling and testing raw materials and batches
Keeping the equipment and facility clean
Doing basic maintenance on equipment, tools, scales, etc.
Participate in departmental improvement activities like SOP writing, safety audits, and project teams
High school education, especially basic math and writing skills, and more than 6 months related experience
Able to lift up to 70 lbs on a somewhat frequent basis
Familiarity with processing equipment and SOP’s
Knowledge and willingness to do basic maintenance procedures
Excellent attendance and willing to work weekends
