The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift or elevating platform, to push, lift, stack, or move products or materials by performing the following duties. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
2nd shift M-F 3:00pm to 11:30pm
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device.
Inventories materials on work floor.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Must be able to document information as per SOP.
Must be licensed to operate lift equipment (Licensing may be through internal or external training).
Stand-up/Reach Truck experience required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Military experience a plus.
Prior manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Basic mathematical skills.
Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions.
Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment

Reporting to the designated supervisor or manager, operate a fork lift to move vehicles between buildings, grounds and lots. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager. Must know, practice and ensure that company policies and procedures and state or federal laws are followed at all times.

Ingredient Fork Lift Operator
JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
This job requires the Ingredient Supply Fork Lift Operator to perform the following tasks:
Check/verify all product labels, names, and quantities being moved to production
Pre stage all materials and keep track of lot numbers for all items
Document all supplies taken to the ingredient weigh room, making sure we stay in FIFO order, and supply only what is needed.
Perform inventory cycle counts as needed or directed by supervision.
Work well with team members to accurately place items in designated storage area in the weight room for their use
Return all Ingredients back to Warehouse location once Ingredient weigh team has completed the job.
Insuring that each ingredient has been reweighed and correct pallet label that includes serial lot number and correct weight is placed on pallet before relocating the item
Move and store all completed batches of ingredients from warehouse 3 to a designated location by supervision.
Cycle count ingredients as need to insure we have correct quantity issued and correct lot number to each job.
Use handheld scanner to complete inventory moves. And document all moves on batch sheet. Batch sheet to be turned in at end of your shift,

AECOM is immediately opening for a Fork Lift Operator at USMC Augmentation at Barstow, CA.
Operates forklift capable of lifting 15,000 pounds as high as 168 inches to move, load, unload, transfer, transport, stack or unstack palletized goods, boxes, crates, merchandise, materials and supplies from one location to another. Operates a floor controlled electric bridge crane, on the loading dock with a capacity of ten tons to unload a variety of items from vehicles.
Insures proper placement and attachment of weight handling gear, such as cables. ropes and slings. to lift cannon tubes, castings and other large and heavy equipment, while loading and unloading vehicles. Checks ropes. cables and other equipment for excessive wear or damage and obtains replacements as appropriate.
Operates electric, diesel, or gasoline powered forklifts capable of lifting 10,000 pounds or more to a height of 212 inches to load, unload, stack, unstack, warehouse, and move shelters, conexes, crates, boxes, packages, pallets and palletized materials or loose items. Operates indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions working in outside storage areas and confined shop spaces.
Moves systems, shelters, system components, and generally over sized materials through narrow aisles. Operates warehouse tractors with up to three dollies on a limited basis to move over sized system components, pallets, palletized materials, bar stock, and other materials requiring special handling.
Requires physical endurance to withstand the strain from vibration. May be required to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
Works in inside and outside storage areas over rough and sometimes uneven or muddy terrain in all kinds of weather. Is exposed to dust and dirt, and the possibility of injury from shifting loads, toppling stacks, and equipment accidents.
Operates 2,000 to 6,000 pound capacity fork Lifts to load, unload, stack, unstack, re-warehouse, and move boxes, crates, packages, pallets, or Loose items; regulates forks and truck movement, exercising care to avoid overloading or improper stacking or movement of supplies and materials; performs drivers maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations. Operates gasoline, battery, or gas-electric powered 3 or 4 wheeled tractors with up to 4 forward gears, towing loaded or unloaded dump cars, skids, or wheeled trailers.
Couples and uncouples tractors and trailers automatically or manually under special circumstances. Exercises responsibility: for assuring security of Loads, to avoid trailer overloading, and to determine safe material loading. Picks up and delivers materials and equipment according to instructions and knowledge of storage and work sites, delivery and pickup points and their Locations.
Performs drivers maintenance, before, during, and after service on both tractors and trailers in accordance with established rules and regulations. Fills out daily equipment log. Exerts effort required to operate hand and foot controls which start, turn, and stop forklifts and tractors, or which raise, lower, or tilt the load on the fork lift.
When manually performing warehousing tasks, may lift and handle heavy items. Work also requires standing, bending, reaching. Work is performed inside warehouses, in bin rooms, in open storage areas and on receiving and shipping docks.
The area may be cold, drafty, damp, or hot. Work is performed in close quarters in warehouses or bin aisles, ramps, platforms, etc. There is considerable possibility of injury from falling or dropping stock, of stacks toppling or Loads shifting because of improper Loading. Exposed to cuts, bruises, and lacerations from falling boxes, etc.

Under limited supervision this position is responsible for operating high-lift stacker/reach truck placing pallets to move product around location. Tasks require moderate complexity and uses judgment and initiative to complete tasks.
Responsible for taking incoming palletized product and storing in appropriate storage area as indicated on location tags with use of terminals.
Receive product requests from load sheets.
Pick pallets of product to be loaded on trailers from storage racks and locates them in the properly designated location in the FWP (forward pick) for distribution.
