Golf Cart Mechanic
Repairs and performs routine maintenance to golf carts, low speed vehicles, ATVs, sport utility vehicles, etc. Responsible for diagnosing things that go wrong with gasoline, electric, and hybrid vehicles and then using the right tools to repair them. Typically uses a range of tools in performing his work, including wrenches, jacks, pressures gauges, computers, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers and other basic handheld tools. They also use welding equipment, lift systems, pneumatic wrenches and other larger, more powerful tools.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare carts for sale
- Minor and major repair on carts and accessories
- Clean work area on daily basis
- Check battery water levels on all carts
- Complete repair orders for carts and chargers on a daily basis
- Install accessories on carts
- Quality control, inspect new carts prior to delivery
- Clean trade-in carts for sale
- Detail and add parts on all new carts for display in the showroom
- Assist service department drivers with various tasks
Minimum of a high school diploma, G.E.D or relative work experience. General knowledge of tools, mechanics and electronics a must.
Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
Lifting, bending, stooping and floor work required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide outstanding customer service to all by acknowledging and greeting each group of members/guests on the course, providing information on convenience cart services and product availability; take orders and up sell where appropriate; deliver goods; calculate bills and collect payment
Maintain order on the course by following proper golf etiquette, observing and respecting the flow of the game and operating the cart in a safe manner
Manage cart inventory by verifying and restocking supplies as needed, notifying manager of shortages and requesting adequate stock for the following day, obtaining approval for opening and closing inventory on cart, removing perishable items at the end of the day and keeping the cart clean
Maintain appropriate standards to ensure food safety and sanitation.
Protect the organization, members and guests by utilizing proper procedures in serving alcoholic beverages (verify legal drinking age and/or discontinue service to intoxicated customers) Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management
Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events and club activities on a daily basis
Accountable for all checks and cash transactions that may, at times, be high volume
Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility
Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner

The Golf Cart Helper Trainer will be responsible for training golf cart helpers based on company guidelines.
