Drive EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), productivity, cost reduction and quality initiatives with hourly workforce to meet / exceed customer CTQ-critical to quality

Electric Motor Winder
Under general supervision, Assembles and tests electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors: Inspects cores for defects and aligns laminations, using hammer and drift. Files burrs from core slots, using hand file, portable power file, and scraper. Lines slots with sheet insulation and inserts coils into slots. Cuts, strips, and bends wire leads at ends of coils, using pliers and wire scrapers. Twists leads together to connect coils. Taps coil and end windings to shape, using hammer and fiber block. Tests windings for motor-housing clearance, grounds, and short circuits, using clearance gauge, growler, spring-steel blade, telephone receiver, insulation tester, and resistance bridge. Winds new coils on armatures, stators, or rotors of used motors and generators. May rewind defective coils.
1. Read and interpret schematics of electrical equipment and mechanical equipment.
2. Identify and utilize lubricants.
3. Identify and utilize cleaning materials and solvents used in maintenance of electrical equipment.

Staff Engineer Test (Inverters) For Electric Automotive Motors
In this role, and under direct supervision of the Engineering Supervisor , Test Technology, the Staff Engineer will be primarily responsible for the electrical design of dynamometers to test the electric drive module (eDM) products. This role will develop new rotating electric test methods and project manage outsourced test equipment builds, while remaining as the technical liaison for various organizational units that support eDM applications,. The Staff Engineer will link and tune inverters to eDM, which will control permanent magnet, induction, lundell alternator, and belt starter generator machines.
Responsible for electrical design of dynamometers using electric machine as the prime mover. Determines best techniques/procedure and applies for analysis, design, or experimental procedures.
Project manage new test equipment when purchased from vendor
Develop, support and upgrade inverter design and integration recommendations and assistance for eDM test stands
Coordinate the creation of material requisitions for part orders, the assembly and debugging of system and software, systems installation, and initial operator training to ensure effective implementation
Team with other engineering competencies, suppliers, and partners to ensure proper development, execution and verification of system products
Lead/Advise/Strategize new ways of testing eDM machines electrically and environmentally

The General Maintenance Technician is expected to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain, repair and install equipment and physical structures. Qualifications Skills Skill Level A Broad mechanical or electrical repair and maintenance capability - Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - practical exposure to working on Power Generation products Awareness of Quick Serve Process Able to understand basic computer use Able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing Able to understand written instructions Ability to work safely and identify safety risks, including completion of any required safety training and the Job Safety Assessment process Can resolve basic technical problems Able to work within quality standards Capable of developing effective working relationships Ability to use general numerical principles Skill Level B Skill Level A plus: Ability to carry out basic repairs and scheduled maintenance on different product types without supervision Able to understand diagnostic tools Awareness and ability to access Cummins service support tools (such as Quick Serve Online, INPOWER) and understanding of Microsoft Software Able to prepare required documentation to the standard required Education, Licenses, Certifications Apprentice Trained Power Generation / Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) Experience Experienced Onan RV Generator technician capable of working independently, to troubleshoot and repair.
Minimal level workshop related experience required Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience Candidate must meet all eligibility requirements to drive a Company vehicle, including but not limited to: Must have a current, valid driver's license issued by the state in which they reside. Must have current motor vehicle liability insurance.
No convictions for any driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs charges (DUI) within prior 5 years. No greater than three (3) moving violations within prior 12 month period. No greater than 2 avoidable accidents on MVR within prior 3 years.
Candidate must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing and meet all physical requirements for the position. If selected, candidates must consider this position as primary employment and hold no other jobs with this Company’s competitors, customers, or suppliers. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical Requirements (times are approximate) Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently; pushing and pulling a maximum force of 50#. Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Protective Glasses, Protective Gloves, and Protective Footwear as required. Standing 7.5 hours per day

Sitting 1.5 hours per day
Lifting 1.5 hours per day
Lifting up to a maximum of 50 pounds Bending 3.0 hours per day Compensation and benefits: Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
