This position was established at the Point Comfort, Texas location to provide engineering support for daily maintenance activities and to optimize the utilization of physical assets and technology resources to support Operations to manufacture the highest quality products in the most efficient and effective manner, reduce maintenance costs and increase operating profits. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Monitor the integrity of the Honeywell-Loveland system
Prepare Abnormal Analysis reports.
Maintain, build and review the Historical Files.
Manage all Equipment Specific training.
Conduct Instrument Craft Training.
Prepare Budget Yearly, T/A, Major Maintenance.
Review Departmental Goal performance.
Ensure compliance with all government agencies.
Assist with PHAs as required.
Assist operation with process upset investigations.
Execution and planning of Turnaround.
Audit Technical Sharing Program folders and Critical Package Manuals.
Monitor compliance with all ISO policies and take action as required.
Review Instrument Maintenance SOPs.
Review all Root Cause Analysis reports.
Initiation and management of new projects as assigned.
Revise, modify, create and update drawings.
Assist technicians with troubleshooting/abnormal situations.
Assist and support to help control labor and material cost.
Troubleshoot Analyzer, DCS and PLC problems
Coordinate construction activities.
Preform sizing on all control valves as needed.
Perform Orice Bore Calculations.
Support PLC Logic creation and modifications.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: MINIMUM COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR PRIOR TRAINING:
B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering.
0-3 years working experience in Instrument Maintenance type field or other plant manufacturing experience.
Mathematical skills, computer skills, Microsoft Office, Basic Understanding of Electrical Circuits, Technical writing skills.
Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
Must be able to work in a rapid-paced changing environment.

The City of Pasadena, Public Works Department is seeking a Maintenance Repairer to perform skilled work in construction, maintenance and repair of buildings, structures and City equipment with specific emphasis in roofing, carpentry and general maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in their field and demonstrates extensive knowledge and ability in multiple building trades. This person will have excellent interpersonal skills, time management skills and written and communication skills, customer focus, a team player, as well as a strong work ethic.
The following list represents some of the essential functions of this position.
Performs skilled maintenance and repair work and minor construction on buildings, structures, and City equipment;
Installs doors and windows;
Applies insulation material to exposed surfaces;
Paints and makes repairs on equipment;
Mixes and pours cement;
Constructs or reconditions office furniture;
Maintains and repairs City equipment such as stationary boilers, small electric motors, fans, filters, compressors, and air conditioning systems;
Performs basic electrical work on non-energized lines, receptacles and light fixtures; changes light tubes/bulbs; installs conduit;
Participates in site demolition and clean up; repairs roofs; installs and repairs floors; installs and plasters walls and ceilings;
Locates and maintains drains;
Operates equipment, hand and power tools;
Performs roof inspections and minor repairs;
Drives City vehicles; may direct the work of assistants; and
Performs related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Three years of recent experience as a helper in the construction and repair trades, or
One year of journey level experience in a skilled trade (carpentry, painting, plumbing, roofing, electrical, or heating and air conditioning).
Desirable: experience working with electrical components is a plus.
The selection process will consist of training and experience evaluation, a written examination, and department-level interview.
