Experience with Allen Bradley Variable Frequency Drives.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC's, which include ControlLogix, PLC-5 and SLC 500.
Be able to follow and understand wiring diagrams.
Work well independently and within a group as part of a team.
Worked at least 5 years as a Journeyman Electrician in an industrial environment.
Handle diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical components and systems.

Works under close supervision of Lead Electrician - Work is checked frequently for accuracy
Performs a variety of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance, and/or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy below 1,000 volts
Installs or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment including transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment
Locates and diagnoses trouble in the electrical system or equipment
Uses a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments
Exercises generators with and without a load bank

Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician duties include:

Responsible for the successful and timely completion of projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Implements changes to plant process control equipment as approved by supervisor. Documents all modifications to plant systems.
Utilizes the work order system both in entering work orders and in completing work orders as directed.
Communicates and documents maintenance issues so that repairs may be scheduled.
Assists other maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
Assist in training other maintenance and/or other technical level employees.
Performs preventive electrical and mechanical maintenance functions as directed.
Responsible for understanding and complying with the fundamental principles associated with the Quality and Environmental Management System.
Allen-Bradley experience is highly preferred
