This position reports directly to the Head Powerhouse Operator and/or the Powerhouse Engineer.

The Powerhouse Engineer position is an hourly position with a starting rate of $28.30 / hour.
Operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment, such as steam engines, air compressors, generators, motors, turbines, steam builder feed water pumps, water softeners, cooling towers and heaters in the steam and water system.
Observes meters and gauges to determine operating conditions of equipment and makes adjustments or repairs as necessary to insure efficient performance.
Keeps clerical records, such as temperatures of equipment and hours of operation, fuel consumed and temperature and analysis of flue gases.
Observes prescribed safety regulations pertaining to the use and care of the boilers and equipment.
Changes Charts as assigned related to Powerhouse and Curing Services. Make startup and shutdown of Curing systems.
Continue making inspection rounds, repair pumps in place, including coupling, un-coupling and pump/motor alignment. If possible, make pump replacement parts crib items, set pump thrust after startup.
Repairs valves by repacking and replacement, Repairs and Replaces Piping and Gaskets on Main Utility Piping as assigned.
Take samples, make tests, and services all steam and water chemical treatment systems in the powerhouse, plant and Warehouse.
Transports equipment, tools and machinery to the job site as required to perform the required work.
Performs simple electric or oxyacetylene welding and cutting and use other hand tools to fabricate or repair metal parts as required for efficient Powerhouse operations. Remove and replace guards or minor machine elements interfering with assigned work

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Powerhouse operations for a designated shift, including safety, quality, production, costs, environmental control and employee relations. The Shift Supervisor also has mill-wide responsibilities for prioritizing shift maintenance and responding to emergencies. The position reports to the PRC Superintendent. The position will supervise Powerhouse personnel on shift basis.

Clean, oil, grease and maintain equipment
Lock out tag out machines when working on them
Trouble shoots and maintains lighting through the plant
Perform maintenance and repair on motors and motor control circuits
Run conduit and pull wire to hook up new electrical installations
Pick up and clean up after jobs have been completed
Open and complete work orders in JDE
Trouble shoot and repair simple control circuits through the use of electrical schematics
Through the use of electrical instruments, isolate faulty components through the process of elimination
Trouble shoots and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
Perform preventive, planned and unplanned maintenance on production and facility equipment
Install, relocate, and remove equipment
Use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work and order parts
Fabricate and repair parts
Performs other related duties as needed and assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of electrical testing and mechanical measurement equipment
Working knowledge of hand and power tools
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic (PLC) systems troubleshooting and repairs
Ability to use CMMS and other computer applications
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Possess a high school diploma/GED or higher
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- 5+ years industrial electrical and/or mechanical experience
- OR an Associate's Degree in Industrial or Electronic Technology with two (2) years industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience
- OR equivalent military experience
BIO - Electrician
The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting and identifying root-cause issues, repairing or replacing parts and rewiring and installing related instrument/electrical goods at the biorefinery. The Electrician ensures that all work performed is in compliance with electrical codes and tests and inspects and repairs issues when they occur. Team members in this position will communicate any problems or concerns to the management team. The Electrician is also responsible for reviewing all electrical procedures for the biorefinery, assisting in developing pertinent electrical programs and training team members. Continuous plant operation includes 24/7 schedules. Team member must be able to meet call-in requirements as needed.
To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should be able to demonstrate and provide the following:
Associate's degree in an electrical training program or equivalent is required.
Journeyman or Master License preferred, but may be required based on location.
Thorough knowledge of standard electrical equipment and work practices is required.
Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and install 4160V, 480V, 220V, 110V motors and breakers, protective relays, PLC's, transformers, motor control centers, lights, breakers, panels and other miscellaneous electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot PLC/DCS I/O including 4-20mA loops, 120V/24DC I/O.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.
Preferable experience in working with:
Knowledge of ladder logic
Industrial network experience with ASi/Profibus/Devicenet
Calibration, configuration and repair of measurement/control instruments for flow, level, pressure, temperature and pH including associated valves and valve actuators
Power systems up to 4160V 3 phase
