Job Summary: The team member's number one job responsibility is to deliver the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time, and understand how he OR'she contributes to the health system's vision of achieving that commitment to patients and families.
Team member is responsible for performing all laboratory procedures, including quality control, specimen collection, processing, testing and reporting of lab results. Team member will also assist in the evaluation of new or modified techniques when required. They will advise and assist in the orientation and training of other personnel on equipment and software as necessary.
Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science or equivalent required. Successful completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Technology or MT program preferred.
Experience: One year experience as laboratory tech.(Clinical internships of 12 months duration meet this requirement) preferred. Licensure/certification/registration: Technologist/Scientist Certification from ASCP(BB, C, H, MT/MLS, M, MB) or AMT MT required.
MT/MLS preferred.All individuals certified ASCP beginning January 1, 2004 must participate and maintain ASCP Board of Certification(BOC) through the Certification Maintenance Program(CMP). All individuals who are certified AMT beginning January 1, 2006 must participate and maintain AMT Certification Continuation Program(CCP) required. Additional skills required: New graduates must obtain certification within 12months of hire.
Failure to do so will result in termination of employment. All individuals who are newly certified ASCP beginning January 1, 2004 must participate and maintain ASCP Board of Certification(BOC) through the Certification Maintenance Program(CMP). You will perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing in technical discipline areas in which individuals and departments are licensed under the direction of a Laboratory Supervisor, Manager or Director. You will perform duties consistent with written procedures and regulatory requirements and apply theoretical concepts of laboratory medicine using independent judgement to ensure timely and accurate results. You will also maintain licensure, competency, and will regulatory schedule in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology sections of the laboratory. Assist supervisor in meeting department regulatory agency requirements (CAP, etc.)
Operate all equipment correctly and perform periodic maintenance according to schedule.
Demonstrate the ability to perform equipment troubleshooting to resolve basic equipment malfunctions.
Assist in monitoring reagents and supply inventories and utilize them appropriately.
Maintain education and development appropriate for position.
Handle all problem and/or critical laboratory specimens/test results according to established procedures and in a timely manner.

Completion of your 2 Year/Associate Degree, Science Post Graduate Degree is required

Imaging Technologist I - Diagnostic Radiology
This job description is for radiology technologists.
Ensures operation of imaging equipment by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Transfers, positions, and instructs patients regarding the procedure in order to obtain and affect the desired imaging diagnostic results as specified by the physician.

Is able to produce diagnostic images utilizing fluoroscopy. Administers contrast media and other medications under the direction of the radiologist.
EDUCATION: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience operating radiograph equipment preferred, but not required.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Arizona Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT), and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
