We are currently seeking candidates for PCB Assembler for our Build Department.
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Assemble printed circuit boards by placing component parts in or on the proper location and orientation
- Prepare assembled printed circuit boards by “masking” or otherwise covering areas not to be soldered
- Solder parts onto boards (Touch-Up)
- Prepare parts for assembly by bending and or cutting components as instructed
- Component identification knowledge required
- Excellent printed circuit board assembly techniques
- Knowledge of hand, surface mount, through-hole assembly methods for electronic printed circuit boards helpful
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standards helpful. IPC-A-610 certification a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Our client has a need for an experienced printed circuit board physical designer (PD) and growth minded mission engineer. Candidates for this position must be able to perform the physical layout of multilayer cards which contain high density, high speed digital, analog and radio frequency circuits. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to produce "world-class" caliber results are required. 5-7 years experience preferred. This is an on-site position requiring the candidate’s presence at the Yorktown facility. Job Duties:
Proficiency with physical layout and symbol creation using Cadence 16.0 or higher.
Experienced with importing third part card designs, exporting card designs to printed circuit-card contractors.
Experience with setting board constraints using Constraint manager or similar interface.
Interaction with the circuit designers and printed circuit card fabricators to insure the highest quality product.
Interact with customers and engineers, including power integrity and signal integrity experts. Basic Skills required:
