Operates meters, power supplies, service monitors and test fixtures and understands their use and function
Maintain a working knowledge of all plant operating systems and readily access records of diagrams & schematics. Will maintain and update any such drawings / schematics to keep them current.
Work with and help identify contractors to repair, install, remove and/or upgrade equipment
Provides 24/7 technical support for production
Regularly inspects production lines and support equipment and performs necessary repairs and upgrades during preventative maintenance cycles
Operates hand tools and small power tools to include cutting of small parts
Leads assembly, installation, disassembly, and demolition of production equipment and building support equipment as required for upgrades or new installations
Maintains a neat and orderly work area; meets plant and department housekeeping standards. May be assigned additional housekeeping responsibilities throughout the plant as needed to maintain a clean and orderly work space.

Electromechanical Technician - PM Shift
To analyze and correct electrical problems and overhaul electrical equipment and controls. Utilize advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to efficiently diagnose and repair production machinery, analyze equipment functions, support and complete changeovers and recommend upgrades to improve productivity and reliability. Must be capable of demonstrating ability to read schematics, perform preventive maintenance routines, diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, perform equipment safety audits, repair gear boxes, panel boxes, remote control equipment, motors, power and lighting controls and has a basic knowledge and understanding of logic controllers and other electrical devices. Functions of this position include:
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses malfunctions, calibrates, adjusts, replaces and repairs integrated electrical, electronic controls for electromechanical, electro-hydraulic and related pneumatic components and systems as found in various types of computer and programmable control units on process-controlled fabrication and assembly equipment to maintain operating efficiency andto also maintain, install and repair electric and electronic power circuits and components within industrial equipment and maintains and repairs furnaces, ovens, and environmental chambers.
- Works from circuit diagrams, schematics, sketches, manufacturing manuals, background knowledge of equipment and verbal instructions.
Uses above equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and to calibrate equipment systems such as computers involving memory units, coding and decoding circuits, digital binary and analog elements of automatic tape-controlled fabrication and assembly equipment and electrical and electronic welding units.
Diagnoses, with others as necessary, failures of all types in integrated control systems aml determines malfunction effects on ent1 re system.
Improvises, installs and tests foraccuracy emergency networks to simulate original operating characteristics to maintain equipment in operating use.
Requires selection and use of formulas for calculating electrical requirements.
Isolates electrical or electronic malfunctions to the correct circuit, network, unit or component.
Interprets and evaluates charts from automatic recorders to establish proper machine functions.
Installs, wires and maintains thermostats and timing controls and performs all other wiring internal to switch box.
Maintains all communications equipment such as PA systems and intercoms, except the telephones.
Maintains all security systems including cameras, monitors, and mantraps.
Performs general maintenance andhousekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
Maintains records, moves materialsand follows safety rules in performance of duties.
Performs other similar duties as required or directed.
- Minimum 5 years related experience.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
- Associate's Degree inElectronics or equivalent.
