This position reports directly to the shipping supervisor with primary duties being to move materials, parts, and supplies from and to stock areas, throughout plant processing, and then to shipping. Repairs and replaces components such as circuit cards, relays, capacitors, resistors, transformers, vacuum tubes and semi-conductors. About Our Job The Athletic Fields Utility Workers will support Denver's Athletic Field needs by performing a variety of routine work and light to heavy physical labor in support of various construction, maintenance, repair, and operational functions for athletic fields located throughout the City and County of Denver.
Performs unskilled, light to heavy physical labor on a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair projects that involves physical exertion and the use of manual tools and limited use of small power operated tools.
Assists skilled trade workers by performing minor repairs to buildings and facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and simple elements of electrical systems such as replacing faulty switches and outlets.
Assists with landscaping maintenance, irrigation, horticultural, and gardening functions.
By position, performs tree planting, pruning and other forestry related duties.
By position, performs maintenance of naturalized sustainable landscapes and noxious weed management.
Performs minor repairs to gardening and grounds equipment, vehicles, and machinery including repair or replacement of broken parts.

Position Overview As a
Utility , you will fill in for any position in the warehouse including, but not limited to: Clerk, Forklift Operator, Selector, Backhauler, and Porter.
Maneuvering through the warehouse operating a motorized pallet jack performing duties ranging from the following:
Repacker: selecting cases of groceries from an order sheet, palletizing cases and manually shrink wrapping them, delivering them to the appropriate dock doors to be loaded
Sweeper: taking completed pallets from staging areas to appropriate dock doors throughout the warehouse for loading
Sanitation: cleaning/maintaining warehouse aisles and product pick slots, increasing selector efficiency by facing product and removing shrink wrap
Overages, Shortages & Damages: managing the disposition of damaged/returned product and repacking over-shipments and damaged product that are salvageable
You will be constantly standing, walking, riding, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. You will always be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 lbs. to 60 lbs. And occasionally you will be pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping!

Utility Worker - Sewer/Water Maintenance
Under the supervision and direction of the Public Works Director or Facilities Superintendent, and the direction of the Lead Utility Worker, performs the work required to construct and maintain water and sewer systems, and operate, maintain and repair Township property. Knowledge of Sanitary Sewer Collection Systems and Water Distribution Systems. Ability to operate a Vactor Sewer Maintenance Truck.
Ability to operate a CCTV Truck for pipeline inspection. Ability to repair Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Pumps. Ability to Troubleshoot and Repair Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Control Panels - preferred.

Knowledge of the safety practices, equipment, methods, and materials utilized in the maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants and parks, grounds, and facilities. Skill in the operation of assigned vehicles, equipment, and power tools. Skill in performing basic maintenance tasks on assigned equipment, buildings, and facilities. Skill in operating related tools and equipment, including computerized systems.
