The embossing operator for the Cover Department willmanually operate a Sheridan press that will emboss a material using anarrangement of various dies to complete a high quality cover. The incumbent will work in conjunction withother operators within the Cover department to successfully complete highquality covers using proper registration. Registration is a multi-step process in applying more than oneapplication of ink or other medium. Thisrequires following standards for productivity and quality and meetingdepartmental goals.
