All of you working as a team will create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Summary: The estimator will be responsible for developing electrical estimates for all types of projects; including design-build and bid-build projects. Will work on the pre-construction team to provide estimate details, ensure materials are bought out within budget, turn over projects and provide estimating services throughout a project's life cycle when required through detailed change orders. Will work with management to review estimates, prepare bidding strategies and develop estimates.
Job Duties:
Review all project documents to determine scope of work for required contents of an electrical estimate.
Prepare detailed, accurate, professional estimates by calculating material quantity take offs, equipment and labor rates for verification.
Review design options and provide multiple scenarios based on cost, engineering quality, or material availability.
Prepare RFIs as needed to clarify ambiguity in project documents.
Aid in the development of value engineering and alternative design concepts.
Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotes.
Prepare electrical estimates on multiple projects concurrently.
Prepare change orders for existing projects.

There will be some travel to sites for job walks.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of estimating, design build experience and pre-construction desirable; along with a working knowledge of the electrical field. Applicants with less experience estimating will be considered if other pertinent trade knowledge is provided.
