Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Studio Operations, the Weekend and Vacation Relief Supervisor maintains the continuity and flow of Studio Operations throughout their scheduled shifts. The Supervisor manages a staff of Studio Operations student employees in support of 31 Recording Studios that function 22 hours per day, seven days per week and serves up to 1500 MTD students, visiting artist events, major residencies, faculty and chair grant recordings, pan-college service and community outreach projects. The Studio Operations Supervisor provides students with training, information and guidance on technical issues and professional session protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains continuity and flow of the studio operation by ensuring that sessions start and end on time and that all proper procedures and rules pertaining to studio use are adhered to.

BA & +10 years' experience in a professional capacity in related areas of expertise (e.g., post production or studio facility technical operations with deep knowledge of fashion/apparel, digital media tools, techniques and services within the media and entertainment industry)
Experience in managing freelance and studio staff, facilities and studio operations with deep knowledge and experience in best practices for rapid delivery of ecommerce assets.
Experience in management modeling agencies for global fashion brands
Knowledge of past, current and next generation industry approaches to production, video and post-production, digital asset management.
Up-to-date technical knowledge in photography, post production, digital media tools and technologies
Ability to anticipate and respond to creative team requirements in a pro-active, timely, cooperative and thorough manner
Experience balancing creative needs with business strategy and fiscal responsibility
