Safety Chemical Engineering Firm is seeking TWO document control clerks.
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Basic Functions: Engineering/Document control clerks needed to assist on a special project. You must have experience and exposure in working for an Engineering firm, P&IDs and be able to navigate through Excel with ease. You will be responsible for scanning drawings into a database then inputting them into the company's software utilizing Excel. You must understand what you are looking at and coding.
Duration: 6 months could go longer; M-F 8am-5pm

Conducts audits and corrects discrepancies in production reports for Continuous Dye Range, Coater, Off-Line Shear, Inspection, and Reinspect areas.
Generates reports and spreadsheets for management as needed and distributes to designated personnel.
Controls and maintain all documents, forms, and procedures in Management System.
Updates Records Retention Grid on a monthly basis.
Maintains and process MTR’s and maintains MTR Log.
Participates in and documents all Systems Management Review meetings.
Enters CAPA’s as needed for SMS and ensure that CAPA’s are closed as stated in the Corrective Action procedure.
Serves as a liaison for plant personnel in the use of the Quality system.
Enters PD Samples and adjusts lengths in Shop Flex.
Assists facility with general roll problems and monitors and processes IPT adjustments.
Completes efficiency and backing inventory reports for CDR/Coater Departments.
Processes performance test data for CDR/Coater Departments.
Generates new shop orders and split orders as necessary.
Generates and processes external beck dyeing processes.
Processes flash backs and quality alerts as required.
Processes virtual transaction returns.
Actively serves on various committees for Plant WG.
Develops and maintain awareness boards.
