Under general supervision, this position is responsible for maintaining current revision levels of all Engineering data. Including Engineering drawings, Engineering reports and Engineering specifications. The position is also responsible for processing MRRs, NCRs, ORR's and ORI's and other Engineering document change requests. Work product or service affects accuracy, reliability, or acceptability of further processes or services.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepares technical data packages for distribution to inside customers and outside suppliers.
Processes Engineering drawings and associated data when approved for release. Distributes appropriate copies as requested by the engineering release notice (ERN).
Using various printers or plotters, generates, folds and distributes paper and or Mylar drawings and documents to inside customers and outside suppliers.
Issues copies of redlined drawings and maintains a log of who they are issued to.
Processes advanced document change releases (ADCN's) as they are aproved for release. Makes and distributes appropriate copies as requested on the engineering release notice (ERN).
Scans and maintains an electronic data base of all approved engineering documents.
Helps establish and maintain an orderly filing system for historical engineering documents, drawings and specifications, Logs, tracks and processes data change request forms (DCRs) as they are generated, Processes MRR copies, ORRs, ORIs and NCRs as they are approved, Helps update and maintain the engineering control book system.
Helps establish and maintain an orderly system for original (signed) engineering documents, drawings and specifications.
Unlock main drawing vault at the start of the work day and ensure the drawing vault is locked at the end of each work day.
Helps maintain cleanliness of the main drawing vault.
Backup to Document Control Coordinator.

Examines, prepares and processes a variety of technical legal documents. Reviews incoming material and determines the need for assembly and preparation of a variety of legal documents.
In preparation of documents, considers the nature and the status of the case involved. With limited instructions from the Attorney, prepares such legal actions as indictments, criminal complaints, search warrants, judgments, applications, notices, affidavits, summonses, grand jury subpoenas, rules to show cause, proofs of claim, and satisfaction of judgment. Completes variable aspects of recurring legal documents in conformance with the rules governing their style and format Provides assistance to attorneys' in trial preparation by performing duties such as: independently compiling trial notebooks, assembling jury instructions, and compiling witness and exhibit lists.

Mail Room Clerk, Nysif Document Control Center
We are seeking two (2) employees to work in NYSIF’s Document Control Center (DCC), located at 1 Watervliet Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12206.
Duties include (Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to):
- Opening mail (envelopes)
- Date stamping the contents of the mail
- Placing NYSIF’s document separator pages in between documents to show NYSIF’s scanning vendor where they should begin a new scan (as necessary)
- Categorizing the document(s) with the proper category as well as writing the proper form code if needed
- Verifying the policy # listed on the document is accurate by pulling it up and/or searching it in NYSIF’s system
- Circling the policy number (proof to the direct supervisor that it has been verified within our system)
- Adding the proper alpha code to designate the NYSIF District Office to return said document after scanning
- Verifies the quality of the scanned documents to ensure readability
