Material Expediter (Maintenance Division)
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and work order priorities.
- Reads production print/slides, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.
- Confers with supply warehouse manager, section supervisors and shop leads to determine long lead time (LLT) material/parts; assists in providing alternative solutions to sourcing these LLT items.
- Performs walk ups and process local purchase requests for high priority requisitions.
- Retrieves and analyzes historical and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents.
- Establish and maintain automated and manual accounting records, scan, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting.
- Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment as required.
- Conducts physical inventories, location surveys and process IAW established procedures.
- Operates material handling equipment (MHE) as required.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess general knowledge of GCSS-A
- Possess general knowledge of researching and expediting parts.
- Former US Army Automated Logistical Specialist (MOS 92A) preferred.
- Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have at a minimum 3 years of experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, and policies.
- Must be able to work in a team environment including working in hot, dusty, windy areas.
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction.
- Must be capable of climbing and working on equipment at a 10 feet above ground limit.

Leidos has an opening for a Material Expediter in Port Hueneme, California.
The Material Expediter will provide a timely and accurate process in receiving in and outbound material and cargo from various customers/suppliers and locations. The Expediter will coordinate with internal and external customers to ensure that what was delivered is what was ordered and desired.
Once materials are verified, the Expediter will determine the proper package size based on material type and carrier restrictions. Cargo/material will be properly staged and identified for movement to the packing activity or onsite packing of it will be preformed. The Expediter will also stage cargo in the proper area awaiting transport via commercial air or surface.
Once the determination of how it will be transported, the Expediter will remove documents and scan them into Maximo. The prepare the cargo to be loaded into a shipping container and secured or onto a Air Force pallet and secured or into a commercial truck. The Expediter will be required to update the cargo tracking system from time to time.
Typical Education and Requirements:
A minimum of four years of diversified experience in warehousing.
Freight receiving and movement in the transportation of supply industry or equivalent experience. Intermediate level computer knowledge of Microsoft programs. Experience in the operation of warehouse equipment to include forklifts up to 6K or better. General understanding of loading cargo into a container for ocean shipment and prior hazardous material certification.
Due to contract requirements, US citizenship or permanent residence is required. S uccessful completion of Standard Form (SF) 85P, Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions is required.

Essential Duties of Parts Expediter:
Assists in the development of parts lists for repairs being performed using extensive product knowledge, various computer software programs and supplier catalogs, estimating requisition completion time with a high degree of accuracy.

General Summary
The Bakery Expediter's primary responsibility is to sort, pack and distribute bakery products; this includes slicing, packaging and labeling items, stocking our retail packaged good display and delivering carts of bakery goods to our retail bakery front. The bakery expediter oversees bakery paper goods and packaging (ordering, stocking/restocking) as well as inventory management of bakery raw ingredients, including tracking incoming organic ingredients. The Expediter is also responsible for invoicing wholesale accounts, and daily work within GlobalBake, our invoicing and production management software.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Sort, pack and distribute bakery products to internal customers and, work with Delivery Team to ensure timely, accurate movement of baked goods from bakers to our customers.
Print and distribute bakery invoices to both internal customers as well as Delivery Team in a timely, accurate manner. Expediter will be trained to use our GlobalBake software.
Track and record incoming organic ingredient lots
Keep expediter area neat and clean
Complete opening and closing checklists
Maintain adequate levels of paper goods, including bags and labels.
Clean food preparation and production areas as required
Assist with bakery maintenance and sanitation as necessary to support the smooth operation of all work areas.
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
Perform other kitchen maintenance duties as assigned
Hours: Expediter will begin work at 5:45 am each day of scheduled work unless otherwise noted.

Description
This position supports the APS-3 Army Cargo Team. The Expediter will be responsible for planning, preparing and loading vehicles and equipment on to aircraft and ships.
The Material Expediter executes the following: locates and moves materials and parts between work areas of plant to expedite processing of goods, according to pre-determined schedules and priorities, and keeps related record, reviews production schedules inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders, confers with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials, locates and moves materials to specified production areas, using cart or hand truck, and records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand. Work may include the following tasks: directing Power-Truck Operator or Material Handling Laborer to expedite movement of materials between storage and production areas, compare work ticket specifications with material at work stations to verify appropriateness of material in use, prepare worker production records and timecards, and may update and maintain inventory records, using computer terminal.

Contract Expediter
Overview
The Blue Origin Engines Manufacturing team is hiring an Expeditor who will be responsible for facilitating the flow of materials and parts to and from various work centers or departments. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for working with cross functional teams to secure work orders, parts, materials, consumables, tooling, and to coordinate delivery of those items to the appropriate work centers to facilitate efficient and timely hardware processing. They are also responsible for verifying work orders and materials for proper traceability and quality. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
Responsibilities
Coordination with all applicable Blue Origin departments to ensure on-time delivery of raw material, parts, consumables, and tooling to and from the appropriate work centers
Coordination with Production Control and Manufacturing Engineering teams to establish work order release schedules, ensuring they are synchronized with the manufacturing schedule
Examine the work order, look ahead, and provide advance notice to the next work center
Ensure smooth and efficient process flow
Verify and confirm part quantity, part number, and serial number to ensure proper configuration
Verify all steps in the work order have been completed prior to moving hardware to the next work cell/area
Effectively communicate to all pertinent work centers any change in schedule, part shortage, non-conformance, or design/manufacturing issue that deviates from the nominal process
Work quickly to mitigate the impact of any problems with hardware or issues on the manufacturing floor
Accurately and regularly track part shortages, estimated delivery dates, and work to smooth the process whenever possible
Coordination with all applicable parties to return non-conforming product to normal workflow in accordance with engineering direction
Regular communication of part status information to management/leadership

This position will support the Iraq F-16 Program and is located at Balad AB Iraq.
DUTIES: Works under management and technical supervision for activities related to aircraft pre-flight, launch and recovery, maintenance and repair and general flight-line operations. Works with customer to ensure aircraft are ready for flight. Subject Matter Expert in relation to multiple areas regarding operations, asset management, crew allocation and above. The Supply Specialist is a critical role on the Noble team. The candidate is expected to execute all purchasing and buying functions to support multiple Military units at home and abroad. If you are able to multi task and enjoy purchasing products online at places like Amazon.com, Homedepot.com, or Walmart.com, then this is an ideal opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the greater Boston area.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of e-commerce, supply chain or management consulting experience, strongly preferred
- Attention to detail and an ability to start and stop tasks
- Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to hit the ground running a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter
- A passion for ordering online
- Ability to manage and prioritize projects, and to delegate tasks appropriately
- Track record of taking on big challenges and delivering despite obstacles and limited resources
- Experience in business and data analytics
- Great attitude and having fun being a member of a team.
