The Tourism and Outdoor Leadership (TOL) program at Oregon State University-Cascades (http://www.osucascades.edu/academics/tourism-and-outdoor-leadership) in Bend, Oregon has a short term, academic wage position for 1 individual to co-lead an outdoor trip for a 25 day mountaineering expedition course offered during spring term 2018 from approximately May 8, 2018 to June 4, 2018.
May 8 and 9 are preparation days. June 4 is a course finish up day. The course is primarily a mountaineering skills class with three weeks+ spent in the Three Sisters Wilderness area.
About OSU-Cascades: Oregon State University’s campus in Bend, Ore. features outstanding faculty in degree programs that reflect Central Oregon’s vibrant economy and abundant natural resources. Expedition Support Staff BOLD & GOLD Program Seattle, Washington USA The BOLD (Boys Outdoor Leadership Development) & GOLD (Girls Outdoor Leadership Development) Program is dedicated to inspiring courage and confidence in diverse groups of adolescent girls and boys through outdoor adventures. Staff your role is to work in collaboration with all the different facets of our program. You will work closely with our Logistics Coordinator and Course Directors to ensure that the instructors, and through them, the students, are provided with the necessary resources to be successful.
This could be in the form of packing food, repairing equipment, driving, playing games with the youth, or consoling a homesick participant. Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to work in the field for at least one week with experienced instructors. This is a great opportunity for folks without the hands on knowledge of working with youth in the outdoors to gain a better understanding and valuable experience in this field.

JOB SUMMARY: Provides advanced (senior-level) administrative and supervisory work for the agency s sexual behavior treatment program (SBTP), which offers a full complement of sexual behavior treatment services to youth with sexual behavior problems who have been committed to the TJJD.
The SBTP is provided in addition to the agency s rehabilitative strategy and involves a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, impulse control and self-regulation strategies and evidence-based case management and treatment strategies that seek to hold the youth accountable. Public safety, victim protection and reparation for victims are paramount and are integrated into the expectations, policies, procedures and practices of the program. Responsibilities include supervising, planning, and assigning the work of licensed sex offender treatment providers responsible for providing treatment services directly to youth assigned to a TJJD state-operated high security correctional facility and coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating program activities at the assigned facility.
Treatment services and activities include assessment, supplemental psychosexual education classes, short-term treatment, pre- and post-treatment services, and intensive residential treatment. No later than two years after employment, this position becomes responsible as needed for the clinical development of unlicensed treatment providers working toward primary mental health licensure and certification as a licensed sex offender treatment provider. Work involves working in partnership with other clinical supervisors to establish program goals and objectives; develop schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals; develop program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations.

The hourly supervisor oversees the operations of their location to ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations; facility is clean; employees are properly trained; and, customers are satisfied with their service. The supervisor assists in managing the staff and plays a large role in the ability to maintain positive employee relations and a positive team environment.
Essential Tasks and
Responsible for opening and closing the building according to expectations of the management team
Oversee the sanitation of work stations including floors, worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, equipment, and utensils
Ensure all staff on duty are properly trained and adhere to cash handling standards
Responsible for making sure the staff uses correct portions when preparing and serving items
Follow and direct others in the standards for product merchandising, line display, stocking, storing of products and distribution of marketing material
Ensure the staff appropriately logs and disposes of waste, follow 5P process including recipe standards
Responsible for cash handling, safe verification and daily deposits
Responsible for Work Force Management scheduling, editing, keying exceptions and approving time
Knowledge of Labor Scheduling Report, Labor Scheduling Tool, and Labor Tracking Tool
Delegates tasks to employees as necessary
Assist managers with employee discipline sessions, attendance logs, and maintains up-to-date contact information
Monitor theft in the location and report incidents to managers
Ensure uniform compliance of the staff members
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing all safety standards
Understand the proper use of and storage of chemicals used in the location. Be familiar with the chemical SDS book and its contents
Daily use of the correct PPE for the task assigned
Report all injuries immediately to your manager and/or supervisor
Knowledge of QA Audit

Cross-train at other positions in the location
Work at other stations and in other departments as necessary
Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.
Oversees and directs staff to ensure timely and effective service of customers.
Front-of-house and/or back-of-house
Occasionally inside kitchen area and or dish room; including interaction with heated equipment, steam, loud noises, chemical products, and other at risk conditions.
