PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration with a physician, the NP/PA manages therapeutic regimens for acute and chronic problems associated with such disease, treatment and/or conditions. The NP/PA provides anticipatory guidance, patient and family education, and psychological and emotional support. The NP/PA has prescriptive authority which includes schedule II through V controlled substances in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The NP/PA is a member of an interdisciplinary care team that requires effective communication and collaboration with co-workers at the Institute in addition to collaborating institutions and agencies. The role requires critical thinking, an understanding of research principles and practices and leadership that improves the quality of care and advances nursing/medical care within the work setting and throughout the community. Advance Practice Provider - Breast Surgery
This position will collaborate closely with the Medical Director of the Breast Center to further develop the Comprehensive Breast Program through the development and coordination of both a multidisciplinary breast cancer survivorship program and a high risk clinic. This will require a close collaboration with the genetic counselors as well as continuous engagement with the medical and radiation oncologists.
Qualifications & Education
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/Masters in Nursing.
Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Registered Nurse First Assist (RFNA)certification if assisting in OR.
Hold a valid, current New Jersey license.

Body Fabricator - Nascar
Work on a body plate to hang car bodies on chassis to meet Penske Racing and NASCAR requirements.
Cut and shape sheet metal to form body parts for race car, while ensuring the final product meets NASCAR's quality standards and fits the template for the style of car.
Bend tubing to form bumpers, etc., for vehicles in compliance with Penske Racing quality standards and to meet NASCAR guidelines.
