Role Summary:As a PostDoc Rotating Machinery and Automation Engineer, you will work with the engineering team to design and test mechanical components, rotor-bearing systems and drive the execution of a wide variety of mechanical hardware with applications in power generation, ground and air transportation and medical imaging.
Essential responsibilities include the design, analysis, testing and validation of rotating components (bearings, gears, couplings and rotors), analysis of machine dynamics and rotating structures, design & analysis of machine dynamics, machine controls and the integration of machine components into prototype electrical, mechatronics and turbomachinery.
