3. Responsibility to feed only quality cartons. Feeder is to fan through stacks of cartons being fed and check that they have proper color, register and are void of unnecessary markings.
4. Feeder is to observe for machine malfunctions and stop glue machine when problems arise. Feeder uses mirror to detect malfunctions. Feeder is also to be aware of signals from operator or catcher to stop and start machine.
5. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of area (remove stray cartons, sweep up, etc...). Performed during make ready.

3. Responsibility that only quality products are packed. Catcher is to check that cartons have proper color, register and are void of unnecessary markings.

5. Packed cartons are to be pushed on rollers through taping machine to the pad locker.
6. Responsible for maintenance of area. Performed during make ready.

The Tobacco Category Manager establishes product assortment plan for Cigarettes, Other Tobacco Products, and E-Cigs. He/ She is responsible for enhancing the overall product portfolio to increase sales and profits. Tobacco Cessation Program Specialist
The Tobacco Cessation Program Specialist within the Division of Prevention and Wellness oversees three major Massachusetts Tobacco Cessation and Prevention content areas, including: 1) strategic goal-setting and management in order to achieve decreased smoking rates and reduced health care costs associated with smoking in the Commonwealth; 2) external and internal partner relations, with emphasis on public-private partnerships with insurance plans, businesses, and unions to promote the importance of benefit coverage for tobacco cessation; and 3) applying for and managing all federal grants and contracts associated with cessation. Duties within the three content areas are described below.
Responsible both for goal setting and ensuring implementation of MTCP’s strategic goals related to cessation.
Oversees tobacco cessation interventions integrated into all healthcare visits and into the electronic record-keeping systems by continuing to expand and more deeply embed MTCP’s QuitWorks program within healthcare environments. Collaborates with other chronic disease programs within the Division of Prevention and Wellness to ensure integration of cessation activities into all work in health systems.
Works collaboratively with MTCP Community Based Cessation program to assist in the development of community based cessation activities for priority populations.
Serves as a content expert for tobacco cessation. Stays abreast of the research evidence concerning best-practice methods for quitting tobacco, best practices for tobacco interventions in health care, and with developments within the national or state policy landscape that affect the delivery of tobacco interventions with Massachusetts. * This position oversees all tobacco cessation contracts and grants responsibilities for the state.
This position is the content expert for tobacco cessation related efforts with MTCP and the Division of Prevention and Wellness.
This position manages all external and internal partner relationships related to tobacco cessation for MTCP including cost-sharing partnerships; service delivery partnerships; research partnerships; and informational exchanges with national partners, state-level partners, health systems, hospitals, community health centers, medical practices as well as community groups.
Works collaboratively and shares information with external public health partners, including the Boston Public Health Commission, Mass League of Community Health Centers, other state health departments, and the North American Quitline Consortium.
Attends internal and external meetings as needed to represent MTCP’s cessation efforts.
Serves as the primary point person for questions or concerns regarding tobacco cessation.
Shares lessons learned that are gained through these partnerships, especially as they concern advances in cessation treatment research and upcoming federal initiatives.
Oversees tobacco cessation grant proposal writing and implementation of grant projects.
Reviews and provides final approval to state contract and grant budgets, workplans, and timelines.
Provides technical assistance and guidance to vendors working to achieve MTCP’s aims.
Assesses and approves the trainings provided to health care delivery organizations and human service organizations by the University of Massachusetts’ Center for Tobacco Treatment Research & Training and the Institute for Health and Recovery. Preferred Qualifications at Hire: * Extensive quality improvement experience and familiarity with using data reports to measure and guide quality improvement efforts.
Experience planning and implementing programs and guiding providers in forming collaborative systems within practice areas.
Graduate degree in public health, community health, nursing, or related health field is preferred.
Experience in or working knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and knowledge of Tobacco Related programming.
Experience in the development and implementation of policy, systems and change concepts.
Ability to translate quantitative data into meaningful, actionable recommendations.
Experience developing partnerships, teams and coordinated activities.
Experience and comfort level presenting to large groups.
Experience and significant competence working with vulnerable and diverse populations.
Experience in planning and evaluating community/public health programs and implementing population-level health promotion interventions.
Ability to work closely with evaluation staff to understand data needs.
Knowledge of the Affordable Care Act, Chapter 224, and other major health policies that shape the healthcare system in Massachusetts.
Understanding of the complex interactions between health and the social determinants of health to maintain or improve health.
