Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist First Press Operator in the set up and efficient operation of 8-color HUV, 40” Komori sheetfed press – ensuring on-time, high quality and quantity.
- Read and understand the department schedule, job ticket and specifications.
- Work with Receiving to stage materials for print jobs using a pallet jack or forklift.
- Load printing plates for next job.
- With First Press Operator, use computer systems to setup and calibrate print jobs.
- Inspect materials and products for defects, and to ensure it meets job specifications.
- Assist First Press Operator in making adjustments, performing maintenance, making minor repairs to the equipment, and keeping press area clean and organized at all times.
- Work with management and press team to set, measure and achieve productivity goals.
- Must be available for required overtime based on business needs.
- Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of experience as a press feeder operator, second press operator or pressman.
- Must be a motivated self-starter and eager to learn, grow, and seek future promotion.
- Must be organized, mechanically inclined, and be able to maintain attention to detail.
- Must be patient and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Must be able to follow instructions, be teachable, and able to multi-task.
- Must have basic knowledge of and be comfortable with computers and software.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and re-stack up to 50 lbs throughout a work shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: ·Clears machine before and after each run and picks up and destroys all foreign material.Empties all waste receptacles located within the blue line area. ·Reviews job ticket and selects the proper type and quantity of paper.Loads and unloads paper.Inspects paper for defects or damage. ·Obtains proper ink from ink room and fills ink fountains.Maintains proper levels of ink at all times. ·Mixes water fountain solution and sets up dampening system.Maintains proper levels of water.Checks PH balance and conductivity reading of water. ·Sets up and operates the mechanical press feeder. ·Assists the press operator in the mounting of plates, blankets, and packing. ·Moves loads of printed and unprinted stock when necessary. ·Performs routine adjustments during the press run. ·Performs housekeeping duties as directed.Keeps sufficient supply of chemicals and clean rags at the press. Responsible for keeping the press area clean at all times. ·Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all ISO forms and quality checks for each job. ·Marks up printed sheet for coating knockouts.Checks the sheet against the mylar. ·Performs job duties in accordance with all federal, state, local, and company safety rules. ·Performs other job duties as assigned.
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to pass a basic reading test.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
Must be able to pass color vision test.
Must be able to pass color hue test.
Must be able to obtain a forklift truck license.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination of the daily operations of the Switchboard including staff coverage, counseling, coaching, and providing frontline leadership for staff development. Ensure quality, productivity and an even flow of work on a daily basis.
Assess, assign and monitor daily workload while providing a high level of customer service, and serve as a resource for information for individuals internally and outside the department. Responsible for providing 24/7 coverage for Switchboard call center responsibilities including the main incoming hospital phone lines, hospital paging system, Smart Web on-call scheduling system, and activation of emergency procedures and response teams. Ensure that all calls are answered accurately and timely, maintain efficiency with all departmental procedures, and provide training and support for newly hired staff as well as current staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma plus 3 years experience in a call center or customer service field
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Excellent customer service, communication and computer skills required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Leadership experience preferred. Job Requirements :
