Key to the business’ success is a team of project managers who coordinate between customers and our fabricators and erectors to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Key responsibilities of the project manager include:
- Identifying, requesting and following up on required information from customers and clients
- Performing field measurements
- Coordinating with other suppliers and contractors
- Scheduling production and delivery of materials
- Monitoring and supporting field superintendent and onsite foreman
- Resolving jobsite problems
- Pricing and issuing change order requests and negotiating change orders with General Contractors
- Working with accounting on monthly invoicing
- Issuing close out documents
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Developing and maintaining vendor relationships and capabilities
- Traveling to jobsites
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project management for a steel fabricator/erector; must be able to read architectural and structural drawings and have past CAD experience (preferably 3D modeling - e.g. Advanced Steel). Candidates must already be authorized to work in the U.S.

Fence Technician- Installer
PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is responsible for operating a company truck for transporting fence panels, poles and other materials to designated work site locations.
It will also install driven fence into ground & use a kittyhawk. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed. 1. Conduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately.
Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition. 2. Check loads to ensure that truck has all material (fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools needed to complete service tickets. 3. Operate fence vehicle to and from pre-designated work sites. 4.
Meet with site superintendent (or other designated representative) to confirm work order. Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc. 5. Unload all fence materials and install fence panels, with appropriate tools, at work site in accordance with pre-determined specifications.
Locate, measure and mark location for placement of panels & installation. 6. Coordinate the workload and the efforts of the Fence Helper. Examine and inspect work progress, equipment & work site to ensure that specifications are met. 7.
Records information such as personnel, production and operational data on specified forms and submit to Manager/Supervisor at end of each shift. 8. Follows all established safety rules & regulations. 9. Train Fence Helper on proper installation procedures, safety protocol, etc. 10.
Special projects as assigned by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will act as a lead person and will oversee the Fence Helper(s) while performing work at off site locations.

Cold Formed Steel Truss Erector needed in Lexington, KY and surrounding Tri-State areas. Tasks
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Unloading and staging of trusses prior to erection.
Prepare truss layout on bearing surfaces prior to truss erection.
Safety rig and tag line trusses using slings and/or spreader bars.
Place temporary bracing to stabilize truss until permanent bracing is installed.

A Cold Formed Steel Truss Erector should have a high school education or a GED as a minimum. High school classes in carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing and general math are desirable. Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, physical fitness and a good sense of balance are important. The ability to solve math problems quickly and accurately is helpful.
A Cold Formed Steel Truss Erector will have to successfully complete an OSHA 10-hour training program.
Potential for advancement is good and may include advancement to field supervisory positions after completion of training and depending on the individual’s qualifications and abilities.
