Strong work ethic and a stable work history; ability to lift 50 pounds; mechanical aptitude; analytical and math capabilities a must; interest in learning manufacturing operations job skills. Duties included in the manufacturing of electrical cable: machine set-up, implementing manufacturing specifications, and documentation of production applications, among others. Our client is a large technology manufacturing operation located in Sugar Land, Texas. We are seeking wire stripping and crimping machine operators to join the day shift team ASAP!

• Operate semi-automated equipment, including wire cut and stripping machines, wire pin and lug machines, and
• Able to stand for full shift.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Dexterity to load/unload wire, use hand tools, fasten small hardware, and connect lugged/pinned wires.
- Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, and allen keys to: install tool and die sets, adjust machine for operation, load raw materials.
- Read work orders and write notes / sign-off as required.
- Read and build to production drawings.
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/8”. Must know the difference between 1/8”, ¼”, ½” and other indications on tape measure.
- Use hand tools to crimp, screw, bolt, or otherwise fasten assemblies.
