PHYSICAL EFFORT: Requires standing for prolonged periods, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting. Handles large diameter bits, 6 to 12 inches, core barrels up to 7-5/8 inches in diameter, and uses 20 foot lengths of drill rods. Uses heavy chain togs to make up tool strings, add and remove drive barrels, lift and screw and unscrew 5 foot lengths of drive pipe weighing 200 pounds. Handles heavy or awkward items with assistance of hoisting equipment or is aided by other employees. There will be times when the above tasks will be done while wearing protective gear required for work on HTW site restricting the employee's movement and ability to perform routine functions.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works outside in all types of weather, frequently in wet, icy, muddy and dirty conditions. Exposed to poison growth, reptiles and constant noisy conditions. Also exposed to cuts and bruises in using tools and working near moving machinery, strains while using heavy tools and equipment, slips and falls in wet or icy weather and from hoisting equipment, and the possibility of electric shock and burns. Danger of drowning exists when working over water.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Must possess or be able to obtain a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License within 90 days of hire. Must be willing to travel away from duty station 90% of the time, regardless of weather conditions. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment physical as well as comply with random drug testing requirements.

Manufacturing support helpers will be working with manufactured aerospace parts requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Assist by using mechanical engineering theory, reviewing schematics and operations books to ascertain procedures and objectives and testing requirements for technical problems. Operate or assist in the operation of Workshop equipment to troubleshoot machine problems and evaluate correctness and completeness of repairs that have been done on the machine. Sets a positive example in punctuality and professional demeanor by respectful communication with all levels of staff, keeping work areas clean and orderly, and promoting safety regulations and all other company programs.

Essential Job Duties:
· Assist in the testing of mechanical products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure
proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
· Assist with the repair and replacement of damaged or worn parts.
· Assist with the operation and inspection of machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose
· Assist with the dismantling and reassembly of heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
· Assist with the cleaning, lubrication and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment
· Assist with examining parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
· Assist with the reading, understanding, and interpretation of operating manuals, parts manuals,
blueprints and technical drawings.
· Assist with the overhaul and test of machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
· Assist with the inspection, testing, and listening to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions
using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts and pressure
· Assist with yard operations, such as loading and unloading.
· Operates shop equipment such as cranes, forklifts and man-lifts, once trained, licensed and/or
· Assist with the adjustment and relining of brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws and
· Assist with repairing and maintaining parts of the engine, such as fuel injection systems.
· Assist with the reviewing of layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding
or cutting metal components.
· Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring the group and self-follow established safety
· Follows directions for the handling and disposing of hazardous wastes, such as toner, oil, antifreeze,
transmission fluid, auto parts cleaner, and similar material.

· Travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
· Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends or on call duty.
