Group Leader - Winding Department - 3Rd Shift
Eaton has an immediate opening for a Group Leader in the Winding Department located in Greenwood, SC.
This person must be and remain proficient in all winding operations within the department. They must be able to work closely with the operators and Production Supervisor to maintain an efficient flow of production in manufacturing packs for capacitors.

Assists with managing winding area, people and processes within the departement.
Sets up, trouble shoots, operates, and monitors winding machines.
Verify in process film and foil is identified.
Correct and observed out of compliance issues
Audit operators for PPE
Communicate production needs to material handler to ensure needed material is on hand and verify inventories.
Review wind schedule and determines which jobs will run when, where, and by whom
Follow Std Work.
Complete appropriate documentation –5S /TPM logs, daily housekeeping log, Std hour form, scrap pack weight chart, review production reports for errors from operators, QRB database
Ensure compliance to Quality procedures
Process cards present and machines set up correctly
Quality Alert items
Functioning of Error-proof device(s)
Deviation to process
Check finished product for general quality and appearance
Follow on-time starts & stops (shift start/end, break start/end, lunch start/end).
Notify appropriate support group ( Supervisor / Engineering) for all issues that can't resolve
Perform 5S house-keeping activities continuously
Work safely to prevent injuries. Wears all required PPE and clean room attire. Report any injuries or unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor. Operate material lifting devices and hand tools, as well as a fork truck. Conduct on the job training for new and transferred employees. Attend non-routine plant level meetings. Participate in Kaizen events. Review condition of mandrel sleeves and tags out as necessary. Review "excess pack" cabinet and scrap packs using appropriate form.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Relocation is not offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Greenwood, SC area (50 miles) will be considered for this position (with exception of internal candidates currently assigned to one of our Greenwood, SC sites)

The Facilities Management Division is currently seeking a Fiberglass Technician to complete daily inspections and repair of fiberglass, padding, seat-belts, etc. on the park rides and the fiberglass, padding, netting, etc. on the water park attractions.
In addition to these daily operational duties the technician will work in the fiberglass shop and should demonstrate the ability to work on a high performing team, operational controls, and to effectively grow the organization while ensuring safe operating efficiencies.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Access all areas of equipment and ride structures for inspections and maintenance.
Mixing and application of fiberglass resins, sanding, trimming, etc to make a finished product.
Sewing to make seat belts, upholster seats, and mold padding for the rides.
Ability to work in all types of weather, including but not limited to hot, cold and rain.
Ability to perform various physical acts such as, but not limited to, climbing, crawling, and lifting from various heights above ground level while carrying tools and equipment.
Lift or move heavy equipment for adjustments or repair.
Analyze equipment breakdown situations or problems to determine cause and corrective action to be taken.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:
Experience in a spray painting, bodywork environment, and some fiberglass experience, preferred.
A strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitude.
Experience in hand tools and power tools.
