Driver - Oil Field Pipe Hauler
LOCAL ROUTES - HOME DAILY - COMPETITIVE PAY & BENEFITS! This position requires safely loading, transport and delivery of pipe and other bulk products in and around the Big Spring, TX oil fields. Please read on for additional details.
Follow the Standard Operating Procedures to safely load and deliver tubulars from our site in Big Spring, TX to drilling locations around the area
Comply with customer safety requirements while on their locations
Utilize any on-board computer terminals to accurately record locations visited and products handled and ensure any additional paperwork is complete, neat and legible
Wear the provided and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all designated areas at all times
Conduct a comprehensive pre and post shift vehicle and equipment inspections, and take appropriate action on encountered problems
Reports incidents (operational and/or safety related), as instructed, in a timely manner
Contain and report any spill according to the established Occurrence Reporting procedures
Take an active role in our safety program including attendance to all safety meetings and ensure safe behaviors of self and subordinates
Maintain an accurate Hours of Service log or time sheet and submit the record in a timely manner
Assists with the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicles and equipment as able and qualified, and report all other maintenance issues to the maintenance department
Other duties as assigned by regional or operation management
A commitment to work without an occurrence; no injuries, property damage or spills
Class A CDL with some experience preferred
Able to clear all background checks required by the Company, Customer and Government
Can successfully pass Savage's road test, which will include a proper pre and post trip inspection of the vehicle
Must show a basic knowledge of DOT regulations as determined in interview and be willing and able to work within the hours of service regulations
A good attitude. Shows interest as a team player, and is observed to be safe and conscientious in the workplace, but can also work independently and with minimal supervision
Can read, write and understand English
Proven ability to be reliable and dependable
Moderate computer skills are required Education/Experience
High School Diploma/GED
Some CDL Experience preferred, preferably in an oilfield environment Physical Requirements

Production Hauler - 3Rd Shift

The Production Hauler also will assist with on-line and off-line production as needed. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. The Production Hauler reports directly to the Production Supervisor or Yard Supervisor. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment
Assist with off-line production and conversions as needed
Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production or Yard Supervisor
Track quantity of units produced from the production line
Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required
Maintain proper knowledge of all pipe products and package requirements
Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance
Maintain proper paperwork and finished goods movements
Maintain facility and yard housekeeping
Assist plant personnel with production as needed, including end of shift housekeeping
Maintain and build job skills through company training programs
Assist with truck loading as needed
Conduct visual product quality inspections
Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES

Facilities can be extremely hot or cold at times, so the employee must have the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremes
The employee will be handling materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods

Unload production trailers and warehouse items,( ie corrugate & supplies), in proper locations in a timely manner 7. Monitor traffic flow in and out of docks and communicate movement needs.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma / GED equivalent. 2.
Prior fork lift experience required. 3. Able to work any shift and overtime as needed. 4. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. 5.
Ability to climb on and off a forklift safely and without assistance at a minimum of 6 times per hour. 6. Vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision or 70 degrees or greater. 7. Ability to safely operate a fork lift in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to others.
Must not be at risk of any sudden alterations consciousness. 8. Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms, and horns on fork lifts. 9. Minimum ability to lift 35 pounds.
