Everett, WA Reports To: Business Unit Leader, Filling General Summary Operates automated equipment to fill 160F+ soup into consumer ready packaging, ensuring that all safety and quality parameters are met by performing the following duties. Principal Accountabilities (list in order of importance and indicate percentage of time spent on each) 1.
Follow all established safety protocols (LOTO, Work at Height, etc.) and wear required PPE 2. Starts and prepares the filler machine. Observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. 3.
Performs minor machine adjustments or repairs such as releveling the vision system 4. Performs operations of machines, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, quality control, and waste control 5. Performs all required quality/ food safety checks, for example temperature checks, seal checks, weight checks, code checks, etc. 6.
Inspects filled containers and bags to ensure product is filled to specifications to ensure food safety and other quality aspects 7. Replenishes filling supplies such as cups and film. 8. Follows department escalation to ensure all major incidents are dealt with promptly 9.
Ensures that all data collection is captured accurately, for example, accurately capture weight and waste tracking. 10. Performs all quality and food safety checks, such as data sheet checks and ensures completion of data sheet 11. Organizes and maintains all tools and scales 12.
Works with team towards meeting filling metrics to drive goals and sustainability of the teams, this to be done through resource alignment, planning ahead for changeovers, looking ahead to optimize the schedule, empowering the teams to drive communication and tight tracking of loss through each process order 13.

CNC Set Up / Machine Operator
Set up and operate multi axis, numerical control milling machine to mill surfaces of metal castings and stock according to specifications and tooling instructions applying knowledge of machining methods.
This is for a first shift position (7 AM to 3:30 PM).
This position reports to the Machining Supervisor.
Set up jobs by loading program and fixtures into CNC.
Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blue prints, mechanical drawings, etc.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Replaces milling, drilling, boring tools and inserts at specified change points.
Supervise the machines while they execute the machine cycle and make any necessary adjustments to produce parts to the dimensional standards.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with dimensional requirements to determine if the parts have been machined to the quality standards.
Uses inspection gages such as verniers, scales, micrometers and pin gages.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Operate within all safety guidelines.
