We are looking to grow our career driven team and are currently seeking a Mixer/Oven Tender to work from our Keystone Pretzel manufacturing facility Located in Lititz, PA. The primary responsibility of this position will be for the candidate to pour ingredients into mixer for dough mixing and place dough onto conveyor or onto tray.
The ideal candidate for this position must be physical capable of lifting at least 60 pounds and have the ability to stand for the entire shift. The ability to read, write, speak and understand sufficient English is required in this role. Knowledge of extruder use and how to properly use dough texture. The willingness and ability to work Monday -Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM is required in this role.
Responsible for dough mixing.
Gathers raw ingredients needed for mixing.
Operates controls adding flour and water into mixer.
Places ingredients into mixer.
Removes dough from mixer.
Scrapes mixer and blades to remove dough.
Records the number of batches mixed during the shift.
Transports dough to extruder, cutting/ throwing dough
Monitors dough quality and texture.
Weighs raw pretzels and documents results every 45 minutes,
Responsible for quality of production on proofing belt.
Checks machinery for wear and communicates to supervisor or maintenance.
Performs product changeovers and shutdowns.

High Pressure Plant Tender - Facilities Management And Planning (Provisional)
Under direct supervision, tends oil, gas or coal fired high-pressure boilers, incinerator furnaces and related equipment, and assists in the maintenance and repair of this equipment; performs related work.
In the Department of Sanitation, under supervision, operates, repairs, alters and maintains boilers, furnaces, pollution control equipment, and other related equipment and appurtenances; performs related work.
Hand fires high-pressure boilers using solid fuels, and stoker equipment and incinerator furnaces using burnable refuse.

Two years of full-time satisfactory experience within the last ten years operating and maintaining high pressure boilers or the equivalent marine experience; OR
Not less than one year of experience as described in 1 above plus sufficient training of a relevant nature acquired in an approved trade or vocational high school to make up the equivalent of the remaining required experience. Six months of acceptable experience will be credited for each year of approved trade or vocational high school.

Position Description: Employee will perform general mechanical and maintenance work including but not limited to the following:
Inspects, operates, maintains, modifies, and repairs all types of facility systems. Aligns, adjusts, services, and repairs components and equipment such as electric motors and pumps. Tests and inspects and installs 120 volt electrical components, tests mechanical and plumbing for proper operation and compliance with applicable technical orders and local procedures, including compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Removes, disassembles, cleans, repairs, reassembles and reinstalls components and parts such as pumps, motors, controllers, compressors, burners, condensers, ruptured disks, valves, backflow preventers, safety and automatic valves, pistons, and bearings.
Ensures HVAC equipment, components and systems are functioning properly and makes repairs if needed. Performs seasonal overhaul as required by applicable technical data and local procedures.

Bench checks repairable components and sub-assemblies using test equipment, standards, and other equipment required by applicable technical data. Tests and calibrates repaired items to ensure adequacy and reliability of repair actions. Aligns pulleys and adjusts drive belts on belt driven equipment.
Maintains and repairs wooden, masonry and concrete buildings and structures; assembles prefabricated structures. Maintains and repairs the structural components of facilities, including, but not limited to walls, flooring, ceilings, concrete footings, foundations, floor slabs, and metal components for prefabricated and permanent structures, doors, windows, screens, roofing, siding, pipe systems, plumbing fixtures, roof flashings, duct work, gutters and downspouts.
Inspects, maintains, repairs, and installs structural and mechanical components of roll-up overhead doors and overhead hoists to include rollers, guides, pulleys, stops, cables, clamps, limit switches, etc. Installs, repairs, replaces, and adjusts building hardware and plumbing fixtures/devices such as hinges, hasps, locks, hydraulic door openers and closers, heating devices, showers, water heaters, traps, vents, drains, meters, fittings.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years training and/or experience in the following building mechanical trades: electrical, electronics, plumbing, power plant operation, boiler operation, HVAC, and electronic/pneumatic control repair.
Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pound, ability to work in high areas, and normal color vision is required. Incumbent will be subject to occasional recall for emergency work and overnight travel.
Special Skills and Abilities: Skill in use of tools and in the operation of machine and equipment commonly used in maintenance and repairing building systems work.
Knowledge of work hazards and necessary safety precautions, methods, processes and tools used to operate and maintain boilers, turbines, coils, air handlers, generators and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
