This is a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor in our cinema studies stream. Requirements: Applicants must have a PhD in film studies, art history, or a related field by time of appointment, as well as a strong dedication to teaching and an active research program. GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Materials Inventory Supervisor, the Film Room Clerk – Replenishment This individual is responsible for delivering daily issuance of packaging materials to Production, and filing away all returned packaging materials utilizing SAP system. This role is based at the San Juan Bautista, CA headquarters.
Essential Functions Required:
A HU tag must be apply to each box of labels and roll of film to identify the material
Using an RF scanner, each HU will need to be scan into the designated location. This step is done thru SAP system.
Clerk will review the location daily and stock up to ensure material is available
Clerk will report to management when a material is out of stock.
All packaging must be scanned to production as the material is pulled from is location.
Any defected material or material placed on hold must be placed into QA Hold location in SAP.
Perform daily cycle counts + Ensure garbage is removed from the warehouse in a timely manner to maintain cleanliness. + Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas. + Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
Ensure compliance with all company rules and regulations, Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Section 110.
Contribute to a successful food safety culture by following the established guidelines as outlined in the Earthbound Farm Food Safety Policy.
Follow all Company food safety protocols without fail.
Always perform tasks in a manner that protects and promotes food safety.
Proactively assist team members, managers and employees as needed.

This direct hire opening is with a global plastic packaging / flexible packaging company that has a roughly a dozen plastics manufacturing facilities across the US. There are around 475 employees in this location, its HQ. The company grew mainly through new plant construction in the 90's and has been in business for around 50 years. We will discuss what specific type of extrusion technology the company uses, its products, materials, applications / uses while on the phone.
You will have 20-30% travel while providing support to multiple plants in different capacities. First, you will have both engineering and maintenance department leaders (dotted-line) reporting to you from multiple facilities. Your solid line reports will be limited to 2-5 (2 head engineers, 2 maintenance managers). Second, you will head many of the company's major capital projects, plant expansions, and new plant construction efforts from both equipment and facilities standpoints.
