Senior Filter Plant Operator
Minimum Qualifications Must hold a certificate issued by the New York State Public Health Council in the grade required for operation of the plant to which the employee is assigned.

Auto Press and Manual Press Operator Responsibilities
- Operate screen printing press including set-up, printing & tear down of jobs with attention to detail, quality of print, accuracy and speed.
- Read and complete work orders accurately.
- Identify and troubleshoot common screen printing problems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Operates a wastewater treatment dewatering filter press to separate waste stream into basic elements prior to processing for final disposal.
Ensures each press is performing efficiently by checking flow meters and gauges on input lines to each press.
Checks and changes filter for each press on a regular basis.
Performs light maintenance on the press including checking valves or eye-bolt catches on an as necessary basis.

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position will operate specific machining equipment in the Large Press Machining work area; it will support the machining process and the success of the team by operating the equipment in a safe and mechanically responsible manner, working diligently to produce high-quality parts in a timely manner, and collaborating with others in the work area to maintain a friendly, respectful, and productive work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
