Primary Job Responsibilities:
Perform cosmetic and full inspection, as well as functional test validation, for all production areas (including PCBA and/or box builds), following industry standards, such as IPC-610

Job requirements and qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma
Minimum of 2 years of experience in First Article, In-Process, FQA, Receiving Inspection in an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment
Good oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively interface with Production, and Engineering
Strong knowledge of IPC-610 workmanship standards and cosmetic inspection requirements
Basic understanding of the quality concept is required; knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) is preferred
Basic mathematics and computer skills to perform simple tasks (Microsoft Office, Oracle, PLM system)
Good understanding of ECR/ECN and Deviation processes
Ability to read assembly drawings, BOMs, Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), ECNs, Deviation, and other manufacturing related documents for inspection

The Final Inspector is responsible for performing any and all types of inspection as assigned, including gauge and instrument inspection of goods in process and finished product. Tend automatic pallet strapping and related equipment.
Inspects beverage cans for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments
Examines material or product for surface defects and incomplete finishes
Check pallet loads for missing or obviously defective cans. Replace missing or defective cans.
