The Finishing and Nursery Supervisor is responsible for:

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.

Open until filled Overview The Rides Area Supervisor has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of all Rides Area/Gondola Transport facilities in the Rides Area Manager’s absence, ensuring compliance with the zoo’s standards in all areas of operations, including customer relations, area appearance, and cleanliness, while also ensuring excellent visitor (customer) care.
Has extensive knowledge in operation of all amusement rides.
Always ensures safety of visitors, answers guest questions and provides consistent, friendly and helpful guest service.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities 1.Ensure rides area is always properly staffed and operational at scheduled opening and closing times; in the event of call offs or no-shows, contact and secure replacements.
2.Ensure that all opening procedures are performed, including all daily cleaning and maintenance requirements.
3.Direct and coordinate the activities of team members; coordinate rest breaks and meal periods.
4.Monitor and enforce team member’s adherence to Zoo’s policies and procedures.
5.Supervise, develop, train and motivate assigned team members; maintain and enforce high standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety.

12.Monitor and respond to inappropriate guest behavior; respond appropriately to emergency situations.
13.Maintain a clean and orderly rides area.
14.Demonstrate superior customer service with customers, both internal (i.e.

Metal Finishing Supervisor
Hands-on supervisor for metal finishing services processed in accordance with written procedures, work instructions, drawings, production schedules and plans.
SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Possess strong leadership and team building skills and attributes.
- Leads metal finishing technicians and team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Promotes a sense of urgency in others while maintaining a high level of organization, attention to detail and accuracy; instills pride in producing quality results.
- Provides training on processes, procedures, machinery and chemical processing equipment.
- Accurately follows written procedures and instructions consisting of process steps including tank locations/makeups, run times, temperatures, etc.
- Reads and comprehends special requirements listed on job tickets and customer drawings.
- Organizes, checks, prepare and racks parts for processing. Applies masking material if required.
- Has the ability to learn and retain information contained in various specifications for metal finishing.
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Has a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar factory production environment.
- Has a minimum of 2 years supervisory or managerial experience.
- Previous forklift training and experience.
- Previous experience working in an ISO or similarly regulated company.
- Has reliable transportation to and from work.
- Stands for long periods of time in non air conditioned manufacturing environment.
- Temperatures in the work environment may fluctuate with outside weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Regularly lifts, loads or moves mechanical parts.
- Is often exposed to wet / humid conditions, chemical fumes or airborne particles.
- Noise levels are usually moderate but if exceeded, hearing protection is required.
