Maintains current knowledge of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Systems, (NPWT) providing technical operational management of systems.- Calibrates, cleans NPWT systems pre- and post-patient placement per manufacturer guidelines.- Troubleshoots non-patent systems; able to identify causative factors, i.e. pumps not charged and/ or dressing quality issues. Investigate accidents or failures of regulated vessels that have been reported to the BPVSS office.
Investigate notices of unsafe conditions received, anonymous or otherwise, and forward detailed reports to the BPVSS office.
Complete effective inspections of regulated equipment in assigned inspection district, including all first or installation approval inspection within his geographic inspection district.
Report via established forms all inspections completed, or activities engaged in
Operate, maintain and clean assigned state owned vehicle
Operate per departmental procedures.

The Pressure Equipment Integrity (PEI) Engineer will provide technical support and leadership in pressure equipment engineering support to the Convent Refinery by working closely in a team environment. Optimize the Equipment Integrity (EI) work process and work to further imbed the work process and improve linkage to other work processes at the site

Provide Turnaround support during outages
Perform minimum thickness calculations on pressure vessels and piping
Conduct piping stress analysis (Caesar) and ASME Section VIII Div 1 design calculations (PVelite)
Network with other PEI Engineers or professional organizations to learn from others, share location experiences, and best practices
Participate in the planning of PEI department activities, development and execution of department goals, and the development, review, and updating of department procedures and site instructions
Inspector, Pressure Equipment Integrity (Pei) - Norco, LA
Pressure Equipment Integrity (PEI) Inspectors are responsible for providing PEI assurance for an assigned operating unit. The Unit Inspector position is a challenging role that ensures all pressure equipment is designed, fabricated, operated, inspected, maintained, modified, and repaired in a manner that provides pressure integrity and cost effective reliability. Equipment within the Inspector's responsibility includes pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, relief valves, and piping systems. The PEI Inspector ensures compliance with pressure equipment laws and regulations and applicable industry codes, standards, and recommended practices.
Work closely with the team to establish inspection schedules, identify corrosion threats, monitor equipment condition, analyze inspection data, and make recommendations to ensure safe operation of pressure equipment
Provide daily run and maintain pressure integrity support for assigned operating area
Provide integrity assurance with a full understanding of the corrosion and deterioration mechanisms in their unit area
Respond to leak events to understand cause and develop recommendations to prevent recurrence
Writes Corrective Action Inspection Requests (CAIR's) for Maintenance to carry out pressure equipment repairs and provide technical support and guidance as an active member of the operating area Production Team
Document inspections and associated repair work in the Integrity Management System (IMS)
Assure that inspection records are current, accurate, and comply with applicable regulations, codes, and department procedures
Have a good working knowledge of pressure integrity requirements and know when to seek specialist advice and assistance
Maintain API certifications for vessels, piping, and tank inspection
Prepare the PEI inspection plan and work scope for unit turnarounds
Participate in scope review meetings and work with Turnaround Planners to develop detailed work plans
Serves as the Inspection Coordinator during the actual turnaround execution
Stingray Pressure Pumping Field Engineer (22908)
The Field Engineer will work on location to learn daily operations of completions servicing. Includes functions of all equipment, sand, chemicals, water testing, billing, reporting, and software. Provide insights and information to operations and client.
A Day in the Life of a Field Engineer:
Can effectively coordinate a job in the data van with little to no supervision
Knows the basic, but important functions of the computer software
Must be able to edit formulas, produce reports, graph, and assist and answer questions about the software
Assist service supervisors in tracking sand and chemicals to ensure proper delivery to the customer
Quality assurance for chemical calibration test for chemical additives
Operate the engineering station computer to provide real-time pressure and fracturing fluid monitoring, record data, produce reports and charts, and set-up job
Produce an invoice after every stage to invoice to the customer
Record all events on location into a log
Keep track of sand and chemical inventories and oversee the quality assurance and quality control of fluids, chemicals, and sand
Read and understand completion procedures
Complete post hydraulic fracturing reports
Provides on-the-job training and mentoring to a field engineer I
Helps the crew with equipment maintenance and the rig up and rig down processes
Answers any questions the customer may have about the job and software and provide advice through the use of industry application
Assist senior engineers in the preparation of plans, calculations, reporting, etc.
Provide effective communication regarding continuous improvement initiatives
Work well with all parties to ensure a trouble-free environment
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Assist in the development of policies and standard operating procedures

Bachelor of Science degree; engineering degree preferred
0 to 6 months experience in the field and has a good understand of the completions procedures, equipment, sand, and chemicals
Competency with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Environment: Seated indoors on location. Exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
