Introductory position for Manufacturing. Part Markers are responsible for the permanent application of part identification for tractability purposes on aerospace brackets and tubes. May perform some trouble-shooting and rework of production items. Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Electrically etch part numbers and lot numbers onto parts to company specifications and customer expectations in a manner consistent with the company's quality and productivity standards.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the specifications and procedures
- Inspects all parts for proper assembly and cosmetic defects. Tags any non-conforming parts with re-work labels and places in re-work bin
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times.
- Maintains a clean workstation and cleans-up production areas as required
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, along with a willingness to do what needs to be done (without taking shortcuts), to move to other lines and departments to fill company needs, and to learn and improve own skills.
- Follows all safety guidelines and wears all Personal Protective Equipment.
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned by Group Leader or any other member of the leadership team
