Second Shift (3:30pm to 12:00am, M-F) LC Industries, a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, retail and E-Commerce company is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. Description: Tend to packaging machine. Free machine of any objects that interrupt its operation.
Prepare production and scrap reports. Push button to activate machine. Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions.
Measure / weigh components to verify they conform to standards. Perform minor machine maintenance such as cleaning machines. Assist with machine set up, stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.
Notify the department supervisor or maintenance personnel if adjustments need to be made to machine controls and guides. Report potential safety problems to department supervisor and maintain a clean work area. Notify the department supervisor or quality control personnel when there is a problem with quality.
Assist with forming, labeling and sealing (taping) boxes. Identify non-conforming parts. Work overtime as required.
Maintains a regular and reliable level of attendance. Interacts with co-workers in a cooperative and professional manner. Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
Three to six months related experience and/or training preferred. Knowledge equivalent to High School Diploma.
Under immediate supervision of the Department Supervisor. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers. Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Meat Cutter / Sausage Maker
We are looking to hire a certified Meat Cutter and Sausage Maker for our local meat market. You will be responsible for helping out customers as well as getting the meat display ready for customers.
Responsibilities for Meat Packer include:
- Helping customers
- Preparing meat for display
- Keep track of inventory in the store
- Open and close the store daily
- Ability to cut and package beef, lamb, pork, chicken etc.
Responsibilities for Sausage Maker include:
- Manufacturing fresh and smoked sausage
- Curing and smoking bacon and hams and other products
Qualifications for both roles:
- Experience working in a USDA inspected facility
- 2-3 years of professional experience working with both butchering and preparing meats
- Journeyman license preferred

George S. Jolly started the family on the butchering path in 1932 when he opened Rovetti’s on Sierra Street and joined the local Butcher’s Union to support his profession. Then, in 1937 he entered the Sparks Market on B Street to serve the folks in the railroad city.
After a decade or so in business George bought into the California Market and ran the meat department inside the market on Virginia Street, until he retired to become labor commissioner for the state of Nevada. Luckily his son, Dallas Jolly, had learned the trade from his father and desired to keep the tradition alive. Dallas opened the original Butcher Boy in 1974 in Sparks. A few years later, he purchased the Reno Meat Company on Plaza Street to bring the family back downtown.
Ken Jolly was a teenager when Butcher Boy opened and he quickly earned his way into the trade. His uncle Dallas taught him his flair for customer service and he spent the rest of his time in the cutting room with Dominic Cartinella learning the craft of charcuterie from his old world Italian teachings.

What you will do:
- Work out of our customer’s facility to help to complete PM’s, emergency maintenance and repairs.
- The right candidate will be able to work with plastic injection molding to diagnose & repair tooling. If applicant has some of the qualifications but not all, Paragon will provide training.
- Repair molds to meet customer expectations.
- Light welding and spotting.
- Need knowledge of water systems, hydraulic systems, and hot runner systems.
- Need to perform the necessary in-process quality checks for specified operations, as well as perform projects and tasks as required and assigned by supervisor.
- While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be required to sit and use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- You must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
What you need to be successful:
High school degree or equivalent; 5+ years’ experience in plastic injection mold repair required. Availability to work Nights is required.

Custom Marine Woodworking business seeks additional woodworkers experienced in all phases of cabinet, furniture and custom fabrication. Seeking experienced furniture and cabinet builders. If you are only a cabinet installer there is no need to apply. Must have 6-10 years minimum experience in cabinet construction and or furniture fabrication. Tool Room Mold Maker Technician
Must be a team player and educate and share ideals when needed.
To maintain high quality tooling through preventative maintenance, minor repair, and visual evaluation.
Read and understand tooling work orders and follow instructions.
Responsible for the correct disassembly and assembly molds in a safe and timely manner.
Able to clean molds and assist Maintenance Technicians when needed.
Work to a schedule and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
Utilize measuring equipment that include micrometers, calipers, height gage, bore micrometers, etc.
Assist in the monitoring process to help keep a reasonable component inventory in stock.
Maintain all tools and equipment that are used including the daily cleaning of tool room machinery.
Assist in maintaining maintenance records on the company computer system.
Work with little or no supervision when given clear direction.
Work with Process Engineers to trouble shoot issues with tool or improve on.
Be able to work on the production floor with tool in press to correct any issue to keep down time at a minimum. Reduce machine downtime.
Able to operate a Surface grinder with in a + or - .0002 on critical details.
Able to operate a Bridgeport/Lathe with in a + or - .001 tolerance.
Able to run a EDM machine
Knowledge of Manifold systems, example: Mold Master, Osco and etc.
Able to polish and bench details. Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Ability to fit new detail and spot in. Ability to trouble shoot issues and repair.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school or some college highly desirable.
5 to 8 years of hands on experience in a tool room involving plastic injection mold repair or mold maintenance. Prototype tool making experience desired.
3 to 5 years of experience using hand operated tool room equipment.
Knowledge and understanding of mold and die components and their respective characteristics. Prefer Plastic injection processing experience.
Ability to read and understand tooling work orders
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
