Oil Tire Changer
As an Oil and Tire Technician, you will perform basic preventative maintenance on our auto rental fleet vehicles such as oil, fluid and tire changes. You may also be asked to assist our more experienced auto mechanics with more complicated repairs. This is an excellent learning opportunity for someone looking to expand upon their natural automotive or mechanical abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of automotive maintenance experience or recent auto tech school degree preferred
Proven mechanical aptitude and skillset in car maintenance required

The Role: Godwin, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire a Field Mechanic in Oil and Gas who is responsible for trouble-shooting, service, repair and maintenance of Xylem equipment in a safe and efficient manner in the shop or at a customer job site.
Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and pump end issues and repair/rebuild as necessary.
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on Xylem equipment between each rental. Diagnose and report any damage to the Service Manager.
Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list for assigned Xylem equipment. Review list of parts with Service Manager and obtain approval to continue with servicing and repair.
Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.
Perform preventative maintenance on Company vehicles and shop support equipment as directed (air dryer, chain saws, lifts, etc.).
Assist customer and/or Xylem personnel with setting up pumping systems on customer job sites as needed.
Maintain a safe work environment by following EHS&S guidelines, policies and best practices.
Participate in weekly on-call rotation schedule to assist customers after hours.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Two to three years of experience and/or training or combination of education, training and experience
Ability to diagnose common mechanical and electrical issues
Experience with diesel engine repairs
Basic knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques to repair and maintain equipment
Basic knowledge of DC electric and circuit testing skills
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and managers both verbally and in writing

An oil driver for MBI Energy Services, located in Ross, ND; will specialize in the transportation of crude oil in the oilfields. All drivers will be placed into a Driver Pool. At any time, a driver may be moved from one role to another within the Driver Pool as needed based upon customer demand, workload, etc.
